  1. Congratulations, this could not have gone to a better group of kids!
  2. Really? I talked to his dad there and he said they were moving, but didn't know where. It's a big loss for our area, kid is amazing. Well it might be his mom, not stepmom, that teaches at Perry and his stepdad might be the one who works in Indy. I do know he has a family member who teaches at Perry Meridian though.
  3. Yes, Cody LeCount from Madison-Grant will be moving to Perry Meridian. His stepmom is a teacher there and his dad works in Indianapolis as well. This is true, LeCount told me himself at GBAA.
  4. I was thinking the same thing when I picked up the Sports Hotline. If I were to put it together Linna would've been on there no question.
  5. Coach of The Year Heath Duke Marion Wrestler of The Year Jackson Bratcher Eastbrook 160 Class 32-3 State Qualifier Gabe Flores Marion 103 Class 32-12 Kyle Arenas Marion 112 Class 26-9 Deyon Cardenas Mississinewa 125 Class 34-3 Chandler Pogue Mississinewa 145 Class 35-4 Nick Duke Marion 145 Class 31-9 Jacob Holloway Eastbrook 145 Class 29-5 Matt Davenport Oak Hill 152 Class 35-7 State Qualifier Dustin McGuinn Marion 152 Class 32-8 Spenser Fenner Eastbrook 171 Class 20-2 Darryn Scott Marion 189 Class 36-7 State Qualifier
  6. Jackson Bratcher from Eastbrook will be going as well.
  7. Psychomonkey is one of my best friends, he is a 2005 Marion High graduate and current student at Purdue but he'd kill me if I gave away his identity.
  8. Taylor March is going to be wrestling at Central Michigan University
  9. grandle - Logan Randle I think 103 state champ has gotten beat a time or two by Casey Kenney.
  10. 7-2 Graber http://www.fwsemistate.com/ This site has full brackets with scores of every match.
  11. Marion's Nick Duke hurt his ankle early in his match with Richards and had to injury default.
  12. Last week it was 5-4 I believe and this week it was 6-3 I think. What? Scott and Grider never have wrestled. I apologize, I didn't realize there were two Scotts at 189. Grider has wrestled Taylor Scott of Heritage in the Sectional championship and Regional championship and hasn't faced Darryn Scott(sp?). That should be one of the most interesting ticket round matches in the SS.
  13. Last week it was 5-4 I believe and this week it was 6-3 I think. What? Scott and Grider never have wrestled.
  14. Didn't you hear, Mr. McGuinn has been cloned. At 215, I think Dylan Green (Kokomo) should definitely be top 3. His only loss is to Darryn Scott by a 3-8 decision.
  15. Worden? No I don't believe they've wrestled.

  19. There were a couple of mistakes we noticed on the team scoring and it would effect the 2nd-3rd team place finishers. Could you please check the printed results that were given to you. 1. At 145, Nick Duke from Marion won the tournament and only received 4 points and individuals finishing below him got much higher points. 2. At 160, the Logansport 160 pounder who got 4th scored 27 points and the first place finisher from New Castle received 11. 3. At 145, only the top 6 place, and it showed all 8 wrestlers receiving points.

  21. Looks like Mr. McGuinn had a little trouble today with a little blond kid from Carroll. Touche. McGuinn has not wrestled up to his potential the past two weeks. He is a takedown machine and has struggled to put together an offense as of late.
  22. Sweet! Armantrout looked like he was on a mission today. He gets my vote for wrestler of the week after majoring Randle and Franklin after originally being a #5 seed (he moved to #4 because Arenas was unable to compete). Armantrout was named MVP.
  23. So who won between Cook v. Spencer?
