Schmoozing with the famous here at Big10s. So much action earlier it was hard to know where to look. Intermission right now, session 2 in about an hour.
Negative. I called IU ticket office today. I asked "Do you sell any of your ticket allotment to the general public".
" We don't get any tickets for that event, you have to get them from wherever it's at"
(Me) So they all stay inside the program, staff, family, etc., can't be bought if there are any unused?
"We don't get any ticket allotment at all that I'm aware of"
Sounded to me like she was unaware that a Big10 wrestling tournament exists, much less where and when it is taking place. I'm leaning towards going anyway. Anybody want take a 10 hr ride Friday?
Does anybody know if the school's (IU or PU) ticket allotment is sold to the general public, or are they for the program family & friends only? And for that matter, what are the chances that there would still be any left or unused? I looked at available tickets for purchase from Maryland and the only thing left is upper level corner, I'm not going if I have to sit in the upper corner. I've never been, and just decided that I might like to go. I'm late to the party.
We should take up a collection to help cover the cost. The Ford's concession prices are absolutely obnoxious. I refused to buy anything in there last Saturday.
TicketMaster is one of the biggest rackets in the history of racketeering. Provide absolutely no service whatsoever and just cost event goers an extra lump of money. Should be a crime, they are nothing but scalpers.
Down 18-0 after 4 matches, I was hoping they would just make the final score respectable, but the Hoosiers dug their heels in and fought all the way back. The crowd was smedium, but we made some noise, I hope it helped! When they awarded Fongaro that last second takedown after review, and Graham put Jones on his back, it sounded like 10,000 in Wilkinson.
Anyone know the condition of the Evv Central 285 that left with a potential neck injury? I hope that was all just in an abundance of caution and he's OK.
