Read the WANE-TV article... The combination of methamphetamine, cocaine and two firearms with one being discharged in a school is really shocking. I suppose along with metal detectors, there will need to be narcotic sniffing canines to pair with the technology?
I think you may be missing the point. There are 2 firearms in the bag. Extremely dangerous! I’m not dismissing the fact of drugs being involved. But as a person that works on the side of the law, most people aren’t willing to share there drugs for free. I just wanted to share something that could had been scary and a major catastrophe in our sport and in our state.

Are we saying we need metal detectors at wrestling tournaments now?
What if something bad were to happen? The tournament is at a school maybe schools need to have them. Not specifically just wrestling tournaments but maybe events in schools.

Maybe I missed this topic this year. Did he move or injured? Just thought about this as I’m watching his brother wrestle for IU!

Outstanding job on rankings!

Hope Preston is okay and recovers fully! Stinks to end a career that way! But a lot ahead of him in his career

Rule 343 … Having babies isn’t an excuse on Indianamat to miss wrestling …. PERIOD !
Have her suck it buttercup and have the baby tomorrow or something .
also hope you have a healthy baby . @richyy253
Last year I drove to Indy from Fort Wayne separate from my father and brother because my wife was 39 weeks pregnant, just in case I had to bail out at any time. Luckily my girl was born 3 days later!

Thank you Y2! Crazy people say the “bracket formula” is random. It’s a 33% chance not a 2% chance. If it happens a couple years it’s not “fixed”

Shoulda won first 3 matches….125 was highly ???? Decision
I don’t favor either team, but if I was a ref I would have given a takedown at 125 to OSU. As much as I hate to say it, I think Mendez did get swiped.

No connection to wrestlers and my father brother and I are making the trip 4.5 hours away. Making it our 24 consecutive year!

Genius! If that was the case, then it sounds like Purdue got out wrestled and out COACHED!
Agreed! Besides it wasn’t a 1 point match. Score was 9-4.

Fair enough. I think the confusing part was when you said, “How the IHSAA placed them in that sectional is beyond me.”
That was the confusing part to me too. Sounded more like a complain than a point.

I don’t have plus. Post results please?

Fair enough. Please explain.
Why does it matter the size of school. Whether it’s 3000 or 300 students per school. 14 only stand on the top of a podium.
Wrestling not important to IHSAA

The way I saw some kids eat at Evansville, they would have made more money in wrestling than they would have made in ticket sales for 4 games for girls. Plus more tickets being sold to the northern as well. Their loss on knowing the wrestling community!
