Jeff Sectional vs Jennings Sectional

I will agree with the spoiler alert. -
Just create a little interest. Who the teams to beat in each sectional? What individuals will win each weight class or even your top 4? Always fun to get different opinions. Let see them.

There was a wrestler at Bosse named Sam Lahonis. Sure I didn’t spell that right. I remember him being a big big guy. Not sure of his weight. I think it was 75-76 season

What’s his goal. Win or place in a holiday tourney and possibly injure it further. Or advance as far in the state series as his talent will take him. I’m assuming you took him to seek medical attention. If not I recommend it. Sometimes it best to rest and fight another day.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. To those of you that are still involved in competition, coach parent or wrestler. Good luck and stay healthy.. About 4 weeks to the state tournament series. Got to love it.

I had the pleasure of wrestling a 325lb guy. The ref told me to put my hand in the middle of the stomach. Best tight waste I ever started with. Never did make it to the middle.

There’s no way to eliminate these type of calls. It’s what keeps it interesting?

The ref’s just need to be consistent through out the state. That was a sarcastic remark. However, subjective calls are just that, will be near impossible for all to call it the same. Stall calls have been an area of wrestling thats been discussed forever.

Is the good ole cross face illegal? Has returning a wrestler to the mat become a gentle ballet? I guess my question is, Any teams out there still very physical?

I would love a wrestle back for sure. Hopefully it will come soon. At least before my grand kids hit high school.

I believe 16 qualifying for state per weight class is where it should be. I too coached at a small school 20 plus years. I loved the challenge the tournament series presented my wrestlers. Go hard or go home.
