  1. Was talking to some of my wrestlers who are currently doing T&F about some of the schools they see during meets, and thought this would be an interesting topic to bring up. In the chart below, I have listed the amount of top 5 ranked athletes per event per school in T&F, according to athletic.net. If an athlete is ranked in multiple events, they get multiple entries to their teams total. Relay teams and field events are included as well. To whack the proverbial dead horse, why do we not see more of the bigger 4A schools having more athletes presented? Especially in a sport where you can have multiple entrants from the same school compete in the state series, shouldn't the population density of these bigger schools be represented more in the rankings, at least you would think? Instead, we see the ranking populated by a surprising amount of smaller schools.
  2. I can assure you my predictions weren’t done with any malice towards any team or wrestler I didn’t mention. Only knowledge I had to go off of was who we saw in meets during the regular season, which Snider wasn’t one of them, and then cross referencing common opponents/making educated guesses. Today was my first time seeing this years Snider squad. *Also KeVon is quite literally the most jacked high schooler I have ever seen. Holy Cow.**

  4. Yes! Literally got into it over trackerestling tech support just a month ago over this. Bought the pass to watch all of the archived matches years ago, come a month ago tried to use the code from then, for it to not work. Tech support tries to claim that the event wasn’t archived, but I vividly remember watching archived matches
  5. Do you have the recording of this match? I tried to go back and watch it on Track where I swear it was archived, but, when trying to access the video I am unable to play it, or match match from the 18 finals
  6. The amount of times I’ve shown specially this match to people over the years is quite unreal. True display of what wrestling is in this match!
  7. Trent McCormick - Yorktown His contribution to Indiana wrestling and the impact he had on his wrestlers underneath him on and off the mat is unparalleled. Speaking from personal experience as a wrestler that was blessed enough to be invited to train under him and with his team, I was made to feel as one of his own. Amazing coach, amazing person. I couldn’t speak highly enough of him.
  8. Any weight classes where you think there will be close matches?
  9. At what weight classes do you think there will be good matches at?
  10. There's going to be quite a few ones at the North East 8 Conference at Huntington North this Saturday
  11. I know this may be a bit early to start doin' this, but what is everyone's early pick em's for each weight class? Competing schools are: - Leo - Huntington North - Homestead - FW Wayne - FW Bishop Luers - FW South Side - Snider - New Haven - Heritage - Woodlan
  12. What I want to see is him come out to the mat playing a saxophone to his own like theme music, and then immediately wrestle.
  13. 126 Joel Byman (Carroll) dec. over #11 Jon Becker (Bellmont) 6-0
  14. Byman did not wrestle this Saturday at the Concordia Wild Bill Invitational, do you know why? (It just seems odd that he misses a big invitational but then wrestles a dual 3 days later).
  15. I have noticed the same thing, but I have no explanation as to why he isn't in any results.

  18. Would this topic be worth breaking into 4 sub-topics for each Semi-state?
  19. Concordia, Carroll, Huntington North, Homestead, Snider, Wabash, Northwood, Maconoquah, Bishop Chatard
  20. Regional picks for the Carroll Regional?
  21. This could possibly be divided into 4 different sub-topics for each respective Semi-State But, what I was wondering was what is your pick for some lesser-known wrestler's to make it through the Semi's, or to atleast make it to the ticket round
  22. Homestead vs Huntington North this Wednesday, at Huntington North Concordia Invitational this Saturday- -Fort Wayne Concordia -Homestead -Huntington North -Fort Wayne Carroll -Fort Wayne Snider -Bishop Chatard -Wabash - Maconaquah - Northwood
