Interesting. Does Ft Wayne semi state have more 1A 2A teams then the other semi states?

BB is legit. The pools this time just aren't balanced.

It was mentioned during the broadcast that maybe next year they'd move to a separation for teams by area of the state. Seems to be a good idea. As would not placing a team like Cathedral who is in the top five in Indiana history in nearly every category as a low seed. Cathedral also apparently requires more hashtags.

I take no issue with BB. Lots of good teams here. Just seems kinda strange the last three state champs are in one pool. I guess one of these three teams in pool C should have won the Heartland Elementary Duals in 2011 like a certain team did. That obviously would have got them a higher seed over state title winning teams.

See, this class is exactly why I like this tourney. I hope the competitiveness opens the eyes of guys who are against class wrestling.

It pains me to say this, but when was the last time Mishawaka didn't have at least one champion? It's going to tough to get one this year.

I think 2A might be the most competitive overall. I could see Yorktown, Delta and Belmont each winning it if things fall the right way. I'm really looking forward to watch this class. One more reason to support class wrestling is the competiveness of these teams!!! Jimtown is also really strong and very accurately seeded at #5

I seem to recall Cathedral played one more week of football than Avon. Did football guys missing from Cathedral impact their line up against Avon? Honestly I don't know.

That's probably all true. But it basically means whoever wins this pool of dismemberment will be so banged up they can't offer too much fight against BB.

My boys from Knightstown are probably seeded about right. They should finish top four or five. They will do just fine.

How do you define screw job? Putting the 2015 state champions (Penn), and the 2014 state champions (Cathedral), and the 2013 state champions (Perry M.), all in the same pool at team state. Ouch!

No, wrestlers don't love it. Ignorant wrestlers or uneducated parents think it's a badge. It's like saying a concussion is a badge in football. Just wrong.

In this version does Louden finally realize his coach was wrong that he needed to pin Shoot?? He would have won on points off the throw regardless.

In the 1920s football players either word thin leather helmets or no helmets. Not somethings I think we should go back to.

People who argue at the seeding meeting just don't get it. Some coaches make it too dang personal. No one ever cared less about seeds at this tourney then Al Smith. He knew you had to beat multiple solid wrestlers to place.

I only saw Knightstown twice last year. But man could u see this coming. They are really, really good. Got several really dominant guys. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see them win team state for 1A.
