i get that. I know a guy you may know named Joe Stewart who had or has one of the best head locks I've ever seen. Often times in high school and in college he hit that headlock and pinned his opponent he was losing at the time. He still got the win. I was trying to point out what Coach Booker taught me in1986. No excuses. If I'm up 13 and get pinned I obviously have flaws I need to work on. Just my 2 cents no malice here.

Your backhanded way you think you are trying to expose me is funny. Everyone knows who I am including Y2 and the other moderators. If I'm out of bounds I'd be off here pronto. I know that. However I need to articulate my previous statement more clearly. Don't take away from another kids accomplishment by insinuating he somehow he got lucky or caught his opponent. I don't know Jeremiah Reitz but believe he is a great wrestler and could easily win state again. However I do know Brendan Black and I know he is a dangerous opponent who wrestles the best season in season out. When 2 accomplished opponents wrestle the results should not be diminished by "he got caught" talk. I'm entitled to have my opinion on the matter and to me that's scrub mentality. What I recommend for you is that you brush up on your wrestling knowledge and insight. Because obviously don't understand wrestling at a high level if you don't understand philosophically that a pin is going to be pin no matter what the score was prior. In the paper or on Indianamat the results will say winner by pin loser by fall.

"Catch"? Some people really don't understand wrestling. If I pin you it doesn't matter if you are winning at the time or I was. I won. When some one knocks some one out it's the same deal. When I hear someone say " I got caught" I know they have scrub mentality.

Our Club has tried to raise money for Disney Duals and has fallen short. I was going to pay for it myself but my better half convinced me to do otherwise. This year it just doesn't seem pragmatic especially if we can't Coach Grider or Bolden there until Sunday. Does anyone know of any other team Duals near that time and are more affordable?

4. Should, could, and if aren't going to wrestling Elliot. 5. No state placer is long shot. I'm old so I'll reference Rob Pavletic. No conference title, no regional, no semi-state title. State Champ for Hobart at 171. Maybe the biggest upset in state history. Anyone at Bankers Life has a shot.

Geoffrey Davis FW Wayne defeated SS #8 Jordan Bledsoe Marion 7-3. He has 5 losses on the year all to state ranked guys. Tylor Triana Hobart by fall. Ian Dembowski 7-2. Skylour Turner by fall. Kenyon Murray by fall and Mason Miranda 2-1.

Anyone who has followed Eldred in the last year would not be shocked by the " lopsided score." He has pinned or majored state placers. He is an All American. And that's nothing against Chastain.

Drew Hughes Is very deserving of the recognition he is receiving kudos to the Indianamat staff for all you do. I've had the pleasure of meeting this young man and there is no arrogance in him. He spoke with me at length in several topics not only wrestling. I even asked the tough question like"why didn't you choose top in the finals against Wilson. He wasn't in sensed he just answered me candidly. He embodies what's good about Indiana wrestling. Good luck Drew I'm rooting for you.
