  1. I agree. I havent seen him wrestle but by all the wins he has gotten in the last 2 days then id say he is shining. Is he gonna be y'all's varsity 195 for rest of season?
  2. Very good luck to your boy in the finals. Just tell him to have fun now. No one expects him to win(not literally) so he has nothing to lose and also make sure no matter what happens that after the match he doesn't regret not doing something. I know it's gonna be probably the toughest match(or one of them) of his career so far but I can tell him one thing I know. He has everyone i know from Indiana and from Indianamat behind him and very very proud of him no matter the outcome. To make the finals in that tournament is probably as hard as winning an Indiana State Title.GOOD LUCK ASA!!!! and rest of Indiana boys still wrestling.
  3. He is from Portage. Has he been Jv? I have never heard of this guy for some reason and I can't find anything on track wrestling either. The reason I am asking is because he is doing extremely well at one of the toughest tournaments in the Nation IMO. he made it to the semis I believe or round before and now he is a few wins away from a 3rd place finish at a tournament where alot of State Champions don't even finish 3rd. Thanks for the info.
  4. I think the top 3 at 170 is going to be awesome when they have to wrestle. I cannot pick. Warren,Fattore, or Brewer?? I would think that Brewer would be a slight underdog but it wouldn't surprise me if he beat them both either..I am looking forward to seeing these 3 battle it out at the Bank. Is there anyone else that can compete with these 3 at 170?
  5. If I remember right I believe their was only 1 guy that gave Brimm serious problems every time. I think his name was something like Dan Pleak maybe? Cathedral???
  6. I think these picks are about as good as you can do considering that a few guys got sick and didn't wrestle. I don't think there was a single weight class that you picked bad. The worst one was probably Heavyweight except for Peterson didn't wrestle because I have no clue why you picked an undefeated Mccubbins to get 6th? I didn't see the brackets before Peterson went out and I know at Heavyweight anything can happen but who was you expecting/thinking was gonna beat him? And again I'm really only asking because I know you made the picks before the brackets changed and I didn't see them. Great job tho. Pretty impressive really. Lol
  7. This is exactly how i feel. I dont like to see the losing wrestler not even wanna shake the winners hand so sometimes i love it when the coach makes him shake the other coaches hand when he doesn't want to. Its a parent thing like you said lol. Great post.
  8. Why is this a shock that he is a monster and can win state? He got 4th last year right? Just wondering. I had to go back and make sure it was the same fatore. Lol
  9. Oh wow! Now i see. That would be nice.. i dont think hunt is close to Lee's level but hes as close as anyone near his weight except maybe Kasper. But id still like to see someone make Lee break a sweat.
  10. I was always taught to do it after every match also but i think it should be done before and after every dual unless its in a tournament. It could just make the whole situation out of control. If a coach or parent thinks an opponent did something kinda dirty during a match or maybe was taunting a kid they felt then the only thing that going to a opponents corner will do is increase the odds of someone saying something and making the situation escalate. But by the time you shake after you finish then most people have probably already calmed down a bit. But im fine either way also.
  11. Are you talking about Lee (of course) and Rutter?? Unless a team that wasnt in it last year joined he is who im guessing you are talking about. I don't know much about Rutter except he has qualified twice. Are you saying he is good enough to beat Lamore,Stroud,Calhoun, and/or Conley?? I respect your wrestling knowledge is why im asking.
  12. 182- Aaron Mosely over Luke Smith twice by decision both at 182. 5-0 and 7-0.
  13. 152- foster over pollitt 3-2 152- pollitt over wathen 5-4
  14. I know how good Asa is but in these matches did he keep the matches competitive? Id guess so but styles matter. Has he beaten decatour before? Teamgarcia said hes seen them several times. Thanks guys
  15. Has Garcia,Moran, or Mcintosh wrestled any of the other ranked guys in their weight class before?
  16. I was told by a pretty good source within Jennings County that he came in after football or beginning of season weighing 330 he finally made weight early last week when they wrestled Columbus North. He won his match and then 2 days later weighed like 298 and was told he then quit the team. I do not know if this is 100% accurate but since he did wrestle Tuesday and not this weekend it sounds like most of it is true. Either way i hate hearing this because he has so much talent and i really believe hed place this year in state. I hope if this is true that he decides to wrestle the rest of this year.
  17. Was during the conference duals on 12-2. Score was 10-7.
  18. 195- #10 J. Sonner (25-0)pinned #10(ky) Vasquez in .37 seconds.
  19. Its not really that its insanely hard but to put out the incredible percentages of ranked wrestlers making it to state is really unbelievable and we can easily tell how much time has been put into it. Thanks alot
  20. Sorry but i didnt know exactly where i should post this at. Brookes Wathen is ranked at 145 and 152 at Evansville SS. He has been at 152 every time i saw him. Also at 152 Josh Foster beat Brookes Wathen like 11-6. Im not positive of exact score because Wathen had a few late takedowns to make it closer but i think this is pretty close.
  21. 182- #8 Mosely over #12 Kleinhenz 8-2
  22. 152- #13 Corban Pollitt beats #10 Brooks Wathen 5-4
  23. 138- #4 Dawson Combest pinned #13 Dalton Craig
  24. 170- #8 (182)Kameron Fuller Jeff pinned #15 Zane Beineke Jc 182 #11 Aaron Mosely won by Dec over Luke Smith Jeff
