    Rhett- state champ, multiple time placer Andrew- Multiple time placer might have gotten 3rd twice Brenton- I believe was a couple time ticket rounder Remo- multiple time semi-state qualifier Eric- 3x state qualifier 1x ticket round They also had cousins Dax and Hunter who were both qualifiers at 182 and HWT Yorktown also had Dillon and Devon Jackson Dillon placed 3rd twice and qualified once Devon was qualifier then 2x runner up 1x champ Yorktown also had Erik and Mykel Johnson Erik placed 6th and 2nd losing to escobedo in finals and I believe mykel was a few time semi-state guy

    Also to add Winchester 138,145, and 195 are all pretty tough too. Winchester doesn’t have a bad team for 1A at all just missing a handful of weights

    Results from Jay County tonight Jay County beats Yorktown 42-36 then delta beats jay county 43-36. Notable results Ethan Reiley over Carter Overby by decision. Justin Boone over Taye Curtis at 126 by fall. Kaeb Stebbins over Curtis 9-0 I believe at 132. Neil Mosier over Ethan Reiley by decision. Delta Hwt over Jay County HWT by fall. Was really some great wrestling tonight by all 3 teams. Jay County was also without Clark at 138

    I couldn’t agree more. Our dual record stinks right now, but we have also been without multiple varsity guys at both of our tournaments. Strength of schedule has to mean something too. We are 3-7 but all 7 of our losses are to 3A and 4A schools. We will get to see jay county on Tuesday

    I would say Owen Valley is a good contender for the 2A spot. I’ve seen/coached a number of their wrestlers in the off-season and saw they had a very close dual with Terre Haute South and Floyd Central.

    He beat new 5-1 as well who’s ranked 11th in state and 8th in semi-state. It’s early but he’s looking pretty good early

    Yorktown also has Joshua Stephenson wrestling 133 at Manchester, Alex Barr ranked top 5 preseason at 149 for Wabash, Christian Hunt at Army West Point which was already mentioned and Brad Laughlin at Army West Point who won Journeyman this weekend at 184

    Yorktown we have 2 full size mats one runs up along the wall a bit so really it’s closer to 1 3/4 we have around 30 on our high school team and 35 for elementary. Our middle school is also currently under construction so middle school and elementary are sharing the room with middle school having about 45 kids
