  3. . so Jacob Aven is running the RTC ????....LOL
  4. . this is great because I am not a very tech savy guy and would never figure out how to get pics uploaded to this site and more than likely my personal I.T. guy Fabio jr "does not have time for me right now" (inside joke but still funny trust me !!!!)
  5. And the results are in for the two IN kids that were going for the Trinity Award............................................. Nate Rioux 1st place finish at Reno and Trinity award winner Parker Reynolds 1st place finish at Reno and Trinity award winner Both appear to be in a category of a select few or alone depending on how you want to look at things. Taking nothing away form anyone before them or away from the extremely rare accomplishment they have both achieved it appears IN wrestling is getting some young talent out there nationally and that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing to take away from this. Congrats to both boys & their families, Contenders Wrestling Academy, Coach Ryan Parrish and #TheCounty
  6. Results of the Middle School National Duals in Danville IL 4-8 to 4-10 Team Indiana Gold and Blue both battled hard and after 6 duals both ended up 3rd in their respective pools and had to cross over to dual against each other for 5th & 6th place. Those results of the individual dual meets are all on track but final placing was IN Gold 5th and IN Blue 6th. individual records are as follows (**AA denotes All American honors): GOLD 75- Bryce Lowery 3-4 80- Ben Dalton 5-2 85- Jesse Mendez 7-0 **AA 90- Noah Mis 6-1 **AA 95- Drake Campbell 7-0 **AA 102- Owen Sego 4-3 110- Alec Viduya 5-2 117- Eli Dickens 6-1 **AA 125- Tyce Freji 5-2 132- Cooper Nohre 5-2 140- Jacob Laplace 4-3 150- Jake Lone 5-2 160- Silas Alred 7-0 **AA 175- Dawson McCloud 3-4 195- Andrew Irick 4-3 220- Tanner Stamm 4-3 275- Holden Parson 3-4 BLUE 75- Brodie Fogarty 1-6 80- Alec Freeman 5-2 85- Alex Cottey 5-2 90- Zeke Seltzer 5-2 95- Logan Bailey 3-4 102- Tyler Conley 1-6 110- Blake Boarman 4-3 117- Devon Williams 0-7 125- Hunter Cottingham 5-2 132- Garrett Williamson 2-5 140- Mason Winner 7-0 **AA 150- Caiden Friedt 5-2 160- Donovan Shepherd 2-5 175- Skylar Lee 1-6 195- Drew Webster 1-6 220- Marcus Havens 5-2 275- Tate Johnson 3-4

  8. . getting rid of a great guy and a good coach Mike Drousias. Good luck to the family and kids
  9. . He is listed as IL and has since moved to IN so guess still no IN kids until we get two this year !!!!!........Go Get 'em Guys
  10. it should also be noted that Triple B is going to get to coach a good bunch of these academy kids next wknd out at the Heartland Duals so his feedback on the level of wrestling will be interesting...................stay tuned
  11. . Part of the logistics that still need to be worked out as well as the time and place..........most likely 6th and under but it will be left up to Hawk, MCWC guys, Parrish and the 4th academy leader
  12. . The ISWA already has an elementary state dual tournament it's in January and Franklin hosts it.
  13. Will post results Monday but I am certain you can follow on Track Wrestling as its a listed event.......They have both worked very hard so anything the people on this board can do to support them please post away !!!!!
  14. Does anyone know if in the 18 year history of the Trinity Award for the following tournaments (Tulsa Kickoff, Tulsa Nationals and Reno Worlds)anyone from IN has achieved the elusive Trinity Award ??? Indiana and CWA has 2 wrestlers this weekend attempting to do this after both previously winning Tulsa Kickoff and Tulsa Nationals. They are both headed now out to Reno for this weekends Reno Worlds. Let's get behind these guys and support them from the whole state of IN wrestling...............Nate Rioux Intermediate 50 & Parker Reynolds intermediate 60 Huge congrats to these guys and good luck to both in this quest for the Trinity Award !!!!! ***also to note both from #TheCounty #CWA #ParrishTrained
  15. logistics coming together...............so far we have the commentating crew (Fabio J, OTR219, TripleB), now just need to finalize everything else !!!!!
  16. . Well possibly, but you would have to refrain from WWE references......LOL Side note...........I have heard OnTheRise219 is real slick on the commentary !!!!..........maybe a dual commentary team ?????
  17. Interestingly enough we may have a chance to find out the answer to this question............at ISWA state I was talking with Bill Hawkins of RWA and Blake Maurer and Matt Coughlin of MCWC. They hatched the idea of having an academy team dual somehow with the three academies (including CWA) and we would likely see if a 4th academy (Pride, CIA or Red Cobra wanted to fill the 4th spot). In talks with CWA owner/operator Ryan Parrish he was open to the idea also so if the logistics can be worked out this may be something that happens and we can find out who can claim Academy Dominance for State, County and just have a lot of fun watching the future of IN wrestling battle with each other...........Stay Tuned !!!!
  18. For anyone in driving distance this is a great opportunity and a way to gage how far you have come or still need to go with some of the best competition in the area. The academy has had some "commitments" from several area #ToughGuys so if its the state's best competition you seek maybe you need to make your way down to #CWA on Sunday night's !!!!!......find out what the secret is all about for yourself........#TheCounty
  19. ***sorry updated and added the 140's that we filled the team with
  20. Bottom line is Blake is a stud and will go on to do great things. He is a super nice kid and the family is a great supportive family also. He has done well for the Heartland teams in past years and will do well this weekend in Danville at the Middle School Duals.
  21. I think its safe to say if you use #'s or not that these along with the kids from MCWC and the rest of the kids from the state that have made the Heartland Teams going out to Council Bluffs April 15-17 are going to make some of the best teams we have sent out as a state and potentially make a push for the best ever finish of 3rd place (2013 Matt Brewer coached and lead Team IN squad). To all IN 6th and under kids going out......................................#LetsDoThis #MakeINproud #Represent
  22. Contenders Wrestling Academy took 14 wrestlers and finished 3rd with 11 of those placing as All-Americans. They also took 1st place in the Intermediate division. .
