Just My Humble Opinion 8)
106 Konrath - His only loss is to who I have got winning 113 Tyler Ferguson in a 6-9 match. Southern Indiana will get to see #1 and #2 wrestle three weekends I a row lucky us
113 Ferguson - not given enough credit. The kid is a stud, period.
120 Red - has probably been practicing for him and LaHue's match all year. That is focus, and as far as experience goes he already has a state title
126 Micic - I hope that the bracket makers know to put Lee and Micic on opposite sides, because that is what the fans want to see. And I have Micic for the soul fact that this is going to be his last match before bigger and better.
132 James - STUD
138 Hughes - I saw Lykins at the Holiday Classic and well I think that Ervin kid from KY is a stud I dont think Drew would get beat that bad.
145 Lecount- I don't think anyone in this weight class can touch him
152 Shurg- Unless Forte bumps then I got him all the way, but I think that is wishful thinking.
160 Hughes - Kenny is a beast at it is his year
170 Rickenbaugh - I know he has no notable wins and that is what is scary about him, because even the ranking guys know he is the man.
182 Hinkle - Leaving Bankers Life with the Gold
195 Kral - Got nothing to say
220 Miller- I think the finals will be the same this year between the two but Miller walks away with the W this time.
285 Oglesby - Just a hunch
This close to the end of the year why bump Whoberry up to wrestle Kelley and risk him getting hurt... I am sorry but it is to close to sectionals to risk hurting a wrestler. I have watch Kelley wrestle enough to know that you going on the mat with him and "the Funk" that he can pull off there is always a chance of getting hurt. It is not like Mt. Vernon did not challenge their guys throughout the year and even at this meet. Konrath and Bethel are proof of that, one lost and one won. And of course the coaches made those decisions, if they didn't then those kids wouldn't have wrestled those spots. Just my Humble Opinion
It is an old teaching here in Southern Indiana (at least) if you dance side to side and dont go straight backwards it is not stalling... but guess what it is. But my favorite is the new way of stalling, and that is to shot on a leg and hold on for dear life. that way it looks like you are trying. Just my Humble Opinion

My Humble Opinion
Sinkovics is the only person Ferguson did not pin at the tournament. it was a 6 to 4 match. All of his matches were pins in under a minute, except the Sinko match of course.

Correct me if I am wrong but Choate from Mt. Vernon pinned # 3 in the Semi State Colton Castetter-11th-Jennings County @ 220 this past weekend at the Paoli Invite. I could be be wrong, and correct me if I am.
I agree as for as rankings go you have to keep Micic at #1 until he loses, but in my opinion Lee wins if the majority of the match is on their feet. That is just my humble opinion.
I am sorry to say that it is even worse when it truly is the refs on the mat that are still doing and making calls that were changed 4 or 5 years prior. I am not in disagreement with you, but there are some of us that have been coaches before and know the rules that disagree from the stands as well. just my two cents.
Ya but I think that Kelley has learned over the years that you can just depend on the scrambles like he use to. I have seen him this year and he is looking a whole lot more technical these days.
I agree that Kelley will be tough to beat with the kids in his weight class right now. However as much as I want to see LeCount and Forte go at it under the lights I could also see one bump and beat Kelley soundly. just my humble opinion. However Kelley is always an exciting wrestler to watch and finds ways to win matches.
Side Note: back in the day his and Hoehn (Mount Vernon Posey) were some of my favorite match to watch.
is 195 competitive because they are all outstanding wrestlers or all just on the same level? When I posted it I was thinking the most competition in the weight class, but it might also need to be said the strength of the weight class as well.
I made my opinion known of the top contenders of 106 discussion topic that 106 in my opinion is the toughest weight class this year do to depth and quality of wrestlers. However I was wondering what everyone else thought. I know that there are some tough weight classes like 126 and 145 that have studs in the class, but I think 106 has it this year. What do you all think?
It is not very often that we get a small weight class (or any weight class in fact) be so stacked. the nice thing is most of these kids are freshmen and sophomores. so it is a ride that should last a while. At the end of the day we all have our predictions. But what is really going to be awesome is if these kids continue to get better these conversations hopefully won't end until 7 or 8 years from now. I just had to give credit for to these kids. all of them have put in harder work for this sport then some of us do at our careers. keep being studs. 8)
