  1. I thought Mosconi might win that one. He has been off the radar at Indian Creek but is a multiple ISWA champion.
  2. Last weekend's Mater Dei Tourney line-up: Red 126 Lee 132 Lee 138 Don't think you gonna get the match-up you want. What you will get is a rematch of White vs. Luigs at 113 (White won 4-3 on 12/30), and Starks vs. Egli at 120 may be decent.
  3. Looking forward to hearing the result from the first round 106 match between Dembrowski and Mosconi.
  4. Saw brackets are up on Trackwresting and Hamilton Heights' David Bryant (5th ranked 106 in the State) is not listed as a participant. Anyone know what's up?
  5. The coaches stole the show tonight! Thanks to Coaches Tonte and Pendoski!
  6. Shouldn't matter who is ranked 2 in 3A assuming no one seeded below Perry or Penn is better than them. Those two will wrestle each other to see who makes the finals, yes?
  7. First nine weight class predictions: 106: Miranda, Miller, Bass, Diep 113: White, Ervin, Luigs, Selmer 120: Egli, Konrath, Starks, Ervin 126: Red, Johnson, Scheffer, Reese 132: Lee, Bethel, Waninger, Dowell 138: Lee, Timberman, Harris, Crowl 145: Jourdan, Heidorf, Whoberry, Foster 152: Oxford, Lynch, Van Horn, Barton 160: Helm, Forzley, Huelsing, Haddad
  8. Great stuff! 170 will be even better as advertised as Castle's Turner Lockyear is in that group and at 152 Whitaker beat Farmer last week in the Bo Henry finals so I am hoping for a rematch! Also, add Kaden Poe of Decatur, Darin Pemberton of Terre Haute South and Logan Dilbeck of Gibson Southern to the 113 weight class and it will be in my opinion the toughest of the tourney!
  9. Watch out for Levi Miller at 106 as well. He will surprise.
  10. Lahue finished 7th in State last year. Hudkins was ill and forfeited State. 120lb weight class.
  11. Thoughts: I hope Ervin goes 106. He wrestled 113 on 12/6. Miranda will beat Diep or Kraeszig or both. I hope Micah Ervin (7th grader) goes 113. He won Harrison 10-way last week at 120. I hope Scheffer goes 120. He wrestled 126 on 12/6. Red and Nick Lee will have very little competition at their respective weight classes, with the exception of Alex Johnson at 126. I still like Joe Lee's chances to cruise at 138. 152, 170 and 182 look like a barn burners!
  12. Kaufer injured his shoulder on 12/6. Not sure how severe. He also injured it at the Indiana Mat Pre-Season Open in early Sept.
  13. You mentioned Tomny buckling down and I wrote Cash or Forte since Forte would be waiting at 145.
  14. MS66 Micah Ervin won the Harrison 10-way last weekend. He is a 7th grader. 2on1 I'll take Saul Ervin over Luigs in a dec and Konrath over Ervin in a dec if he is at 113. He will win 106 if not.
  15. K McKinney from Princeton will give one or two those guys fits at 106.
  16. I would be surprised if any Ervin was mentioned in any post without the highest regard. If I'm wrong show me where. Saying that the second ranked KY wrestler from Fern Creek lost twice at Castle on 12/13.
  17. Who you talk in' bout bluemonster? Cash or Forte? )
  18. It will be a Lee at 132 or 138!
  19. DeMien wins 106. Put it down. Other predictions?
  20. Lol. Add Berlin and you have song writer!
  21. 15-9!? Can we hear more about how it went?
  22. Konrath beat Ervin last year 4-0 at Mater Dei Classic. Ervin and Luigs have a common opponent in Carson Willis. Luigs beat him at IHSWCA Pre season tourney by 4-5 or so. Ervin pinned Willis and won 8-3 or so this season. Ervin v Luigs would be good match. I'll take Ervin.
  23. Mooresville info is on track wrestling. 23 teams, but no mention of wrestlers or brackets yet.
  24. Could not agree more on the quality (or lack thereof) of KY rankings
