I think Bane will make it out of the regionals with a 2nd/3rd finish but I don't think hell make it out of the ticket round if he gets there at semi-state think this well be a really good learning year for him to set him up for a SuperSophomore year

specially with Thanksgiving tomorrow im sure it'll be a couple weeks till everyone is at the weight they'll wrestle this year 8) But my predication for the top three teams is Centerville, Union County, and Hagerstown edging Union City for 3rd. Should be a great and exciting year

Amazing season and even a more amazing career congrats on placing in state even though it wasnt where you wanted to end up you have alot to hold your head high....You represented your school, conference, parents, the field family, and yourself with great pride, TOUGHNESS, and determination. Wish you a speedy recovery and best of luck with your plans in the future(hope to see you wrestle somewhere in-state)

The most impressive wrestler this year to me was Cody Handley the kid wrestled with a broken hand for most the year then tears his MCL with 35 seconds in the finals at semi-state holds on to win it 9-6(i believe) then instead of sitting out this past weekend and possibly blowing his knee out goes out wrestles his heart out and left it all on the mat with a 6th place finish(amazing seeing how many kids "faked" injuries to get in state or move on in the tournament) really wish he would have walked in at 100% differently think he could have wrestled under the lights........Great kid and wish him the best with his future

Does anyone know where to find the video to this match i cant find it anywhere :-\ wanted to show it to someone starting to get into the sport of wrestling and this was one of the top 3 matches i've ever witnessed

Congrats Gettinger on a great season and career....As well Congrats to Coach Bottomley on hes well deserved honor connersville has always produces tough kids....to the whole Connersville team great job this year and you as well Asst. Coach you and Bottomley are doin some great things there keep it up

Cody could still wrestle but Minnesota gave the thumbs down he has a tear in one of his muscles in his shoulder if he wrestled and tears it the rest if the way its a differents between 6 weeks recovery and 10th months recovery I've got to see cody win two state titles rather see him win a national title then risk hurting himself for a 3rd state title

so you dont think a great coach like j rob can turn a raw and coachable kid like phillips into maybe not a national champion but atleast an all-american?

i guess only time will tell then.... and decent job on the break down even though i still think phillips will have a great college career

guess that shut you up didnt it? and im not a union county fan thank you they were a hated rival when i was in school but same conference i just like to see the TEC represented well and Phillips has done a great job of that over the last four years

i didnt say that he never gets any big time names now did i??? Minnesota has been one of the top recuiting programs in the last five years so why dont you make sure you read things right before you try to make yourself too bigheaded

Anything is possible and if you watched college wrestling then you would know the coach j rob doenst always recurit the most domanite wrestler but the blue collar ones who arent afraid to go into practice and work their a$$ off and give 110% everytime they step on the mat.

I really hope Phillips just goes out and kicks everyones a$$ but it doesnt matter cause hell always have these haters. Phillips has never had any love through his high school career everyone doubted him every year. Hes a great person and wrestler whos worked hes butt of to where he is now. Im not tryin to bash Crume, Ayersman, or Lecount but Phillips will go out there with hes lunch pale and do work like any blue collar boy would do. I also think hell be an all american maybe even a 2x at minnesota but let all these haters hate cause in the end im sure Phillips will be the one with the final laugh.
