  1. I totally agree. Looked like he was very tired in the 3rd. I'm a huge fan of his and was very bummed to see him get beat. Blanton on the other hand wrestled a great match!
  2. Why does Brooks have only 31 matches? Was he hurt? Does his team just not wrestle as much? Just curious
  3. James is pretty good, Phillips, LaHue. IMO Brooks isn't going to walk thru this to the podium.
  4. pinned him in the 3rd, not sure what the score was before the fall
  5. Lance Ellis went to cathedral. I know he went to Cathedral, I was stating that i witnessed him win semi-state @ new castle. I think he tech'd or pinned everyone he faced that day.
  6. My son goes to school with campbell.
  7. Apologies to anyone that thought I was being mean to Cody. Not my intentions at all. I am however excited for the other senior who has worked very hard for 4+ years and has an opportunity to wrestle in Indy. Cody has had a great HS career and will have one in college to, IMO, he is to good not to.
  8. Headlock 83 Best SS in the state? That kid wasn't at New Castle! Lol
  9. I think it's awesome to see true excitement and celebration! As long as it is done without disparaging the other kid. IMO one of the best things about this weekend!
  10. Evidently Cody Phillips is hurt and won't be wrestling in the state finals. Clayton Campbell is taking his place from what I understand. Good luck Clayton! I hope Cody's injury isn't to serious.
  11. You guys know these guys way more than I do. So I would love to hear which is the toughest road to the Lights from your point of view.
  12. I'm not sure how he scored in any of his four state titles, But Lance Ellis was very dominant his senior year at New Castle. Maybe needs to be in the discussion.
  13. Whoever is advocating for WB's is maybe a Rueger fan. Life and Semi-states are not always fair, but they are always a competition. You Win some, you Lose some. Either way it will prepare you for when you have a real challenge in Life!
