  2. They get national exposure with no travel restrictions. Mt Carmel for example will have Dvorek, Cheesehead, and Iron Man on their schedule next year.
  3. Tucker graduated and is wrestling with Drew again at Michigan State. Tucker won state in Illinois his senior year. Tucker had a pretty good career at Mt Carmel. Having said that I also believe that Lowell could have been really good with both Hughes, both Champagne's, Tucker, and Cummings all wrestling on the same team.
  4. Be advised that this tournament is during the crucial time period when your wrestlers have to get their freestyle qualifications in. Another thing to remember is USA nationals is the weekend before, so that is 2 ISWA promoted events that will be taking away from your child's opportunity to qualify for freestyle state. It is more important to get a couple freestyle matches in over pushing and testing your wrestlers abilities. Also don't plan on attending Flo Nationals, NUWAY nationals, Ohio TOC, Viper Pit Duals, or attending the NCAA's(in St Louis) because you need to get your qualifications in. #centralregionals
  5. Also the Mt Carmel kids Drousias at 106 Uribe at 120 Guzior 126 Hirschfield 182 from Sandburg Last 2 could have made LC much better.

  7. Yes Mis is going for his 3rd this year. Chad Red With 7th, 1st, and 1st.
  8. I actually just looked him up today after I saw he beat Brody. He is a first year schoolboy and he didn't wrestle in middle school state last year, so I am assuming he is a 6th grader. Hopefully he signs up for middle school state so I can see him wrestle.
  9. Hardcastle will definitely be in the mix. Speaking of 95, did Alstott move? I was putting him in the top 25, but his track profile says he lives in Wisconsin. I left him out because of it. Last I knew he was in the Indy area.
  10. I modified my list to top 25. It was pretty hard to narrow it down to 25 wrestlers. I have seen many of these wrestlers at national tournaments and duals which is why some of them were ranked higher then kids that wrestle mainly in state. I also didn't rank any 6th graders, but I am sure that will change after middle school state. Inbox me if I missed someone, I'll adjust my rankings every month.
  11. No score after the first period. 2nd period Blake escapes in 6 seconds, towards the end of the period Jacob hits a slide by and catches a leg but Blake gets out of bounds, the ref calls fleeing and gives Jacob a point. 1-1 going into the 3rd and Jacob picks bottom. Blake rides him out the entire period, but picks up a stall warning. 1st OT no score, but Jacob pushes Blake out of bounds 3 times. 2nd OT Blake picks bottom and was hit with a fleeing or stall point and then does not escape. 2-1 Moran going into the 3rd OT, Jacob picks bottom and Blake gives him the point and stands him up. Blake attempts several shots but was unable to get a takedown in 30 seconds ending the match with 3-1 score in Moran's favor.
  12. I added grade, high school projections, and possible weight classes.

  15. 35 Indiana wrestlers competed this weekend at Tulsa Nationals, with 11 of them placing. This tournament is said to be the toughest youth tournament in the country. Ouch

A few years back I remember someone naming the state placers that were in the room jogging during warm ups and I thought they mentioned your boys name... prolly mistaken. I don't know him by face, only seen him wrestle at semi state and state from far away. There are a ton of great wrestlers from around the state that I only know by name. I am obviously a fan of what RWA teaches, but even if I wasn't I don't think you can beat the quality partners in the room. Especially in the last few years with more Michigan and Illinois kids coming to the academy. I just think it is too great of a resource to ignore.

    Ouch

my bad, I don't even know what he looks like. Almost listed him with Streck.

    Ouch

Out of everyone you mentioned the only kid I haven't seen there is Streck... the rest of them have taken advantage of the resource at some point.
