  1. Now any penalty/caution is going to turn into a medical default.
  2. if adding a 255 or anything close to that, why not just make HWT an open class with no limit. Let the future D and O line kids wrestle. It would also bring in more kids as the football coaches would want their kids getting in better shape and improving footwork.
  3. I think parents should start moving their kids here if they want an easier ticket to state!
  4. Sorry, should have stated that was sarcasm.
  5. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe FWCS has middle school programs
  6. Stalling really only hurts the heavyweights. Typically if a small guy is hit with stalling, he deserves it. Refs seem to forget that slide byes, duck unders, and other non leg attack moves are still offense! Just because they don't all shoot doesn't mean they are stalling! I wish a certain Ref we had at the NE8 and Goshen Regional would understand that. I have to tell my wrestlers every time we have this certain ref that they will most likely get hit, at least once. I'm just glad our AD listens when we tell him who not to hire for our home meets! Sorry for the rant!
  7. Or just don't leave it to the refs, you always have to account for human error!
  8. Essentially get a degree in Rocket Science and train in a Jedi temple for 6 year, then and only then will you be able to understand what the IHSAA is thinking.
  9. How on earth did he get enough qualifying weigh ins while dropping 15 lbs? We got hosed from kids trying to drop from 160 to 152. or 132-126 or even 113-106 (all moves made before the 1st.) Heck even the kid who went 138 all year is still having issues. IMO the new weight system is crap, just the IHSAA running the sport into the ground.
  10. Howe and the Lee’s make this a tough pick.
  11. Tough to look past the strength of McKinley, but Red has a proven track record being undefeated. On the other hand Red may not have beat Escobedo.
  12. Hughes is my pick on this along with duckworth who should have two if not for the concussion his Sr. Year.
  13. Adam Chalfant would run the table. He almost beat Chico as a Jr and he looked so much better as a Sr.
