  1. Bad deal for Konrath. Looks like a serious knee injury in the finals with Hurst. Hurst wins by Inj Def.
  2. I feel bad for Corsaro, but has anyone else ever finished 2nd three times? I cannot think of this ever happening before...
  3. There was a time I probably would have agreed with you. But these are kids that have spent thousands of hours keeping themselves in check and totally focused. If they happen to reach the pinnacle of Indiana HS wrestling, I say let them act like fools in front of 10,000 wrestling fans. They've earned it. And it gives us something to talk about!
  4. Bill Yozipovich from Greenfield-Central had over 200 wins in the early 90's. He coached until the late 90's, so I know he is up there.
  5. Three injuries and two SAT's. 132, 138, 145, HWT, 182 I think.
  6. Looks like Jasper is missing half their team today. Don't think they'll be in the mix this year.
  7. Also looks like a lot of the 1 seeds with lesser records than 2 seeds are returning champions or runners up from last year.
  8. Strength of schedule probably played a part in seeding. Castle and Jasper have wrestled each other, Mater Dei, and Bloomington South so far this year. I would assume any losses in those matches would be "quality" losses and not count against a wrestler as much.
  9. I was told Schitter will be down to 126, but I think he's hurt right now.
  10. Just looking at this past weekend... 1. Egli was ridiculous at 106! 2. Johnson beat both Shermer and Brown at 120 3. Schitter gave Broukal all he could handle at 132 4. Mater Dei is good
  11. It looked to me like the second ref was watching the action and not the clock. Anybody else notice that?
  12. The good news is that Farrell and Bradley are in opposite sides of the bracket!
  13. Agreed! I noticed that he wouldn't even accept his ribbon on the podium. Must be something in the water in Bloomington...
  14. Schitter of Jasper defeats Runyon BS 7-5 in OT.
  15. Despite a handful of weights, Northview sectional has totally showed up today. Southridge sectional has some proving to do...
