I have been to every final since 1974 and never have I seen this much excitement over one match. Wrestling fans won tonight and the two young men who didn't run from each other but faced each other won as well. That I can respect. Both young men made Indiana Proud and will go on to represent Indiana in the same fashion.

I want to thank everyone for not picking Clayton Cowan as a placer from Hamilton Heights at 145lbs this will be even a sweeter tourney for us.

Riley White Hamilton Heights is at 138lbs for the sectionals and Clayton Cowan is at 145lbs for the sectionals.

The best I got was Clayton Cowan Hamilton Heights 145lbs  8sec.

I spoke with Jigger today and he said Randy Pinned him in the finals of the state in 1976.

Not to my knowledge. lol Jigger only lost 3 matches. All to Randy.

Well I know this guy well. He wrestled Ralph "Jigger " Smith from Muncie Southside in the State Final match in 1976. They didn't let freshman wrestle varsity back then. I know at Muncie Southside they didn't. Jigger wrestled him 3 times losing all three matches. Jigger was a three time state qualifier. Funny thing is Jigger helps me coach at Hamilton Heights.

I fought Rich Franklin at the Ford Center great place.

I was there and I missed more wrestling than I could see. With that said isn't it reasonable enough to just say lets look into a place that fits most of the needs of the fans that bring in the revenue.

3 years ago I went to another school for a dual meet and almost everyone of our kids was a half pound over at weigh ins. I was very upset to say the least and the ref wouldn't even allow me to put a 5lb weight on it to see what that looked like. So my whole team ran while the coach had this grin on his face as they were running. I knew he knew that the scales were heavy and there wasn't anything I could do about it. But we won by 60 pts. and that was when my grin started.
