Track Wrestling has the video rights the rest of the way. (At least up to the Final - assuming the normal telecast will be available for the Final Round, but not sure)
Regionals - Each Regional is available for $9.95. This includes Live and Archived video.
Semi-State - Each SS is available for $14.95
State - The State Finals are available for $14.95
OR Best Deal - All 4 Semi-States and the State Finals are available for $24.95. Again, Live and Archived Video are included
I was kind of hoping they would lump Regionals into a Package as well but this is far better than nothing. I really like the Archived feature. I still on occasion go back and watch matches from previous tournaments, Team State, etc. Tip - Create a password you'll remember, when buying the event. Don't let it generate one for you.
A few other notes for those not used to streaming via TW. Pros, skip this part.
- You can watch each mat by opening each in a new tab. I typically open all four mats and another tab or the TW Dashboard, which lets me know who is up on each mat.
- I cast one mat to my 65" TV. There are various ways to do that. I used Google Chromecast because i can cast a tab only. When I want to switch mats, I simply stop casting the active tab, switch to the desired tab/mat and initiate the cast again.
- While I have one mat on the TV, I watch a 2nd mat on my laptop. I bounce between it and the TW Dashboard. Note: The video feed is typically behind the Dashboard, so if you want to focus on a match, don't check the dashboard or you may have found your wrestler has scored or gave up 4 points and the video hasn't shown it yet.
- The quality of the video will greatly depend on your internet connection/speed. Also, the device you are watching on - TV/laptop/tablet/phone - including it's memory and processing speed. If you start to have problems with video quality or lagging video, try less mats at one time and see if you can find the optimal level you can handle.
- Expect some video issues from Track Wrestling as well, especially early in a day. My guess is each tournament will have more "eyes" streaming than ever before. Plus, there are people at each location working the equipment. In the past, I've experienced video issues, a mat with announcers and no sound (someone hit mute), announcers calling the action with someone right behind them talking loud enough to be heard over the voices you want to hear, or even a camera static on a mat and not covering an edge. Nothing worse than missing a pin when you can see 90% of the mat, but not the fall on the edge! They usually get worked out fairly quickly. You can create a ticket and report issues and TW is pretty good about getting issues fixed or helping when they can, but it won't always happen immediately.
- You can only watch on one device per log in. Much to my disappointment. If it were allowed, I could cast my phone to a 2nd TV and have 2 TVs along with my laptop going, but to keep people from sharing an account, it is not allowed.
