  1. Sego dropping to 106 is going to shake things up there. 106 is going to be a battle
  2. Tiger Duals 1-7-17 @ Memorial High. I'm not sure of all the teams yet other than Castle, Heritage Hills. Will Annakin make his appearance?
  3. Sego ranked 106(13th) state and 113(3) Ev SS?
  4. Reynolds-130ishMcKivitz-120-130 Peters- Big Boy Conley-106ish. Lost 1-0 to Owen Sego(Indian creek) who is ranked top 10. @113
  5. My fault, fingers got ahead of the brain. That makes it more confusing Haskins(Port) TF Hinderliter. Haskins pins Light Light over Hinderliter Casebolt beats Light Rioux falls Haskins and Beats Casebolt 6-1
  6. 106- I would definately have Kameron Kendall(north posey) in there. 9-0 win over Thalop(Monrovia)@ team state. Having a stellar year. Would also look at Scott(HH)- very tough freshman whose only loss is to Escalara(ky) Rice(Memorial) 2 tough loses @ team state 1)West(delta)5-4 2)Mosely(N Montgomery) by fall Also would put Casebolt and Rioux over Hinderliter I know Hinderliter has win over Casebolt but here's why: Casebolt beat Light who TF Hinderliter then Rioux beats Casebolt. (Confusing) Watch out for Sulawske(Memorial). Big wins over Sisk and Ky ranked wrestler and lost 5-0 to Boots(EMD)
  7. Scott(HH) 106. He's unranked and I believe he only has one loss(Escalara). In my opinion, he'll be 1 of 4 coming out of Castle Regionals
  8. You have Caleb Craig(Reitz) listed at both 132&138. He's been wrestling 32 I believe
  9. you are correct. Sheffer majored him 11-1 at last years EMD classic.
  10. I agree. I feel that there were a lot of sick ones. Kudos to those such as Avon who through having several starters out, still brought some hammers to help fill those brackets. Having lost Memorial and the team from Tennessee, sure didn't help. Still not sure why Memorial dropped out. I know they usually put up some good wrestlers, yet come out banged up. This year, they're loaded with a senior class and doesn't want anyone injured going into the state series?
  11. Only once and he got pinned in less than a minute. The year before he lost in the semi to Keegan Duncan(Tr). The other time(2013) he made the final, he lost to DJ Smith
  12. Great write up Navy. Just for clarification, Sheffer is a 3x state champ. BUT only a 1x winner at the EMD tourney which was this year.
  13. How many would leave mater dei for Al smith? Obviously none The post is about Champ vs Champ as it is every year. But I guess since the majority that have posted have sided for EMD, that's caused an uproar.
  14. No, it's not a joke. Upsets, if that's what you want to call them happen in all tournaments no matter how many teams are there. The EMD Classic also host top ranked teams from Kentucky and a team from Illinois that comes with some grinders of their own. This is a post that happens every year after these 2 tournaments have concluded.
  15. Fair enough, but Dickens lost to Bealmer(Ca) by fall who lost by fall to Triana.
  16. Does this mean the rankings will be updated by sunrise tomorrow. Lol
  17. 106-EMD-Escalara over Smith 113-EMD-Garcia over Watts 120- AS-Triana over Dickens 126-AS- Rooks over White 132-EMD Luigs over Gimson 138-EMD Scheffer over Rumph 145-EMD Oxford over McIntosh 152-EMD Lee over Hatch 160-EMD Brewer over Mappes 170-EMD Vanhorn over Penola 182-AS Davison over Sonner 195-AS Davison over Wilderman 220-EMD Larson over Pokorney 285-EMD Ripple over Lawson
  18. Not talking about Escalara at this particular point. I was subjecting about Gabe Adams(113) who wasn't there yesterday. Believe me when I say I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Asa. I enjoy watching him when I can and he's the champ for a reason and even Adams may not be able to score on him. It was all wishful thinking. Horty from Ev Memorial beat Sego earlier this season 6-5 and pinned Egli. Then at the Harrison 10 way, Horty was schooled by Adams. I believe he pinned him.(maybe TF, sorry old age and sleep deprivation causes more loss). Once again, not measuring Horty to Asa cause it's not close, but Horty has beat some top caliber wrestlers to only be schooled by Adams.
  19. In the matches I've seen him at this year, he's been very impressive. Has similar wrestling style to Escalara. Very quick, excellent scrambler and his ability to transition from one move to the next is top notch. Not saying he would beat Garcia, but it would be a very exciting match.
  20. Their 113 is just as good. That would have been fun to see him vs Garcia.
