I think it is fine just the way it is. In all honesty, there is no Sectional that is "deep" enough that an unseeded wrestler is a semi-state caliber wrestler. People need to quit whining about "fairness". Just another part of America becoming more and more wimpier.

What gives Blue monster? Where are them rankings? How am I supposed to know if my kid is going to make it to state or not?

Great post.. Everyone that knows me knows that's the main one I had to work on. You do miss it alot after your kids is done. Spent every weekend/weekday somewhere wrestling being in state or out of state for 12 years. I sure learned alot in those years and met alot of great people. 1 thing that always stuck with me was about 10 years ago Tonte saying it's not a sprint it's a marathon. Sad part is one day your kid crosses the finish line.

He is going to be fine. The cat scan results came back with nothing alarming and was cleared by the Dr. to come home yesterday afternoon. Thanks to everyone who helped and to all those concerned.

Cody is a competitor first and foremost. We as his family are very proud of him. He has stepped up and done what his team has asked of him. He will be very successful with or without a redshirt. He represents Perry Meridian and the state of Indiana at the highest point!

I don't typically comment. But in my opinion. CJ doesn't need to prove he is the best to anyone but himself,and all those college scoutes I'm sure that are knocking on his door. I'm sure he decided to go a certain weight class just like Lee did. CJ proved himself the best when he won super 32. Just my opinion.

Congrats to EMD for winning the IHSWCA Team State Championship for 3A. Perry would not take anything away from Penn (had they won) or EMD for winning. The Penn fan that's been posting excuses all year for their loses, I'm sure isn't what the Harper staff is saying or thinking. That group is a class act with a lot to be proud of. It's real simple, Perry beat Penn in the semis and EMD beat Perry in the finals.

I want to congratulate Cody and wish him luck as I heard today that his redshirt will be taken off so he can wrestle varsity 149 at Central Michigan. He will do great things. Proud of this young man on and off the mat.
