    The Rat always has some interesting insight into the Region and it's really not that hard to read. You just have to have a little imagination, that's all.

    Is anyone sure that Luke Welch will be going 126 and not staying at 120? I've also heard that Wedding from Memorial will be back at 126 this year. The Evansville area is going to be very tough in that 120 - 132 neighborhood.

    Kelly will be a beast. He was last year and will be again. As far as the Reitz group, I think it depends on what weight they all end up at. Will Kuhn somehow stay at 106? If he does, what does that do to Ferguson and where does Davis end up? How big is Johns, can he make 126 or does he go up to 132? Who else ends up in all of those weight classes will also have an effect on where they finish. MD has some pretty strong lower weights. Should be exciting. Can't wait for the season to start so we can start getting some answers.

    What will the criteria for seeding be? If two guys are both state qualifiers who gets higher seed? If there is a two time qualifier would he seed higher than a one time qualifier?

    Might have Nick Lee in the weight class as well. That would amp it up a little more.

    Schweizer from MD will be a junior. He should have a very good year. Could land at either 113 or 120, if he makes the lineup.

    I agree Carmichael is worth consideration, but has he wrestled or beaten any of the guys on the list at 126-138? What weight do you expect him to wrestle this year? I know I would put him above several on the list, but certainly not all.

    Nice win for the freshman. I would say he should be on the radar.

    If Johns does end up at 126 it could be the toughest weight class in the SIAC this year. Unfortunately, I guess we are going to have to wait until November to know much for sure.

    I think Welch would be way too much for either Kuhn or Davis at 120, but Kuhn vs. Brown or Davis vs. Brown would be great. Also, we might see Welch vs. Wedding at 126 if Welch jumps up a weight class. I've heard Johns will go 132 and Wedding may end up there as well. MD will also have some talent in those weight classes, so at least in the lower weights, it should make for an interesting SIAC season.

    This is great. Thanks for getting things going. Not being critical, but you have Alex Johnson listed at 5 and 8 in the 106-120 category. Might open up a spot for someone else to "get some love". Anybody want to take a shot at ranking each particular group as TripleB has them set? That could really get some discussion going and maybe some insight into what weight classes each wrestler may be expected to go.

    Memorial was in the Evansville Central sectional last year and yes, there will be a huge hit in attendance and excitement. In past years, even in the semis, you had some big matches between MD/Reitz/Mt. Vernon/Memorial wrestlers. Where are those going to come from now?

    Reitz will have a very good Tyler Ferguson to fill in at 106. Kyle Todrank wrestled in Vanhook's spot last year when he was out with injury and I would guess he will step up to varsity full time this year. I don't know what kind of success Todrank had last year wrestling varsity, but I don't think he was too bad. Other than those 2 stepping up, I have no idea.

    Kuhn and Brown at 113 would be great to see. I don't know about Brown, but I doubt Kuhn will make 106 again. My money would be on Brown , but I'm sure it would be tight. Will Davis bump to 120? The word on the street is Todrank will wrestle 126 and Johns 132. Someone out there may have different info than I do, but that is what I was told. Where does Luke Welch end up? My guess would be 126 after basically two years at 120.

    The Evansville Central sectional took a huge hit. Losing Reitz, Memorial and Mt. Vernon will weaken things considerably. Ben Davis to the Evansville Semi-state will spice things up a bit though.

    Ouch that hurt all the way to Warrick County. I bet BlueBolt will come out swinging at that one.

    The rumor that I am finalizing my picks for the Castle Regional is false. However, I may give it a shot if someone could give me some info. as to what weights the guys will be going next year. It, at this point, is a very inexact science. Any inside info?

    I think I would include Logan Wedding in the top 5 at 126. Hard to believe he wont be there
