  1. No problem. Was a great meet last night.
  2. No sarcasm. They all looked very good last night. Dominate even
  3. That's 50% which to some people isn't too bad
  4. Yes, all three of them looked very good against MD's freshman.
  5. Ferguson by fall at 106 Kuhn over Lehman 7-0 Johnson dec. Davis 1-0 Todrank dec. Jordan 6-1 could be wrong on score Pierre dec. Johns 4-2 Schroeder dec. Reese 9-2 Weinzapfel by fall at 145 for MD Forzley MD by fall at 152 Parkinson dec. Wimpelberg 2-1 Schneider by fall at 170 Bassmeier dec. Myers at 182 Reitz dec. at 195 Dennis dec. at 220 for MD Reitz gets the fall at 220 over MD JV I hope I got them all right. Memory isn't the best anymore
  6. I believe it was 126 against Todrank
  7. I have a little different opinion of the 120 pound match. In the 2nd period it seemed to me as if Davis was hanging on for life trying to keep Johnson from scoring while not really trying to score himself. In the third, while Johnson did ride him out the entire period, he seemed to be trying to score or turn Davis. I'm sure not everyone will agree with my opinion, but that is how it looked from my vantage point. We will all get to see this match again a couple of more times this year and I'm sure it will be close again.
  8. BTW Nathan Wright did not wrestle tonight for MD
  9. If I remember correctly Reitz won at 106 by fall, 113 by dec., 126 by decision, 195 by fall and heavy by fall. Total matches went 9-5 MD
  10. At 126 it is Welch all the way. Everybody else is wrestling for second, but Todrank did look good tonight. He has really improved.
  11. Pretty good guess. Anything surprise you tonight.
  12. Mater Dei takes it. Final score 36-21. Great match. Reitz does have some studs down low just wasn't enough to win
  13. I would bet there are truly small schools that could beat the smallish enrollment school East Noble. I haven't consulted wikepedia yet to find out though. But, WOW! that would be impressive
  14. All wrestlers from WC should be ranked #1. End of debate.
  15. All of this talk about kids bumping up has got me really thinking. Who could bump up and win and if they did would it bump too many kids around and cause 2 or 3 losses to get maybe one win? If Reitz bumped Davis to 26 to wrestle Jordan could his replacement win at 20 and could Todrank win at 32? For that matter could Davis beat Jourdan at 26? Would moving Johns up to 38 make sense? What kid would you then squeeze out of the lineup? That's why I don't see it happening. I don't think either team has a weak enough spot where you could throw a JV kid in and get a win and I think the chances of giving up multiple losses with kids out of their weight class is too great. Anybody have a different opinion on it? Who moves and where if you think someone might?
  16. I won't make a prediction, but I will say there is NO way there will be anybody bumping kids around. I don't think either squad would have any advantage in doing that, but it would make for an interesting evening.
  17. I think Panther out! is probably an auto signature. Can't imagine wasting precious time typing that each post. WrestleMan out!!!
  18. Collins is out with an injury. Return is questionable at this point.
  19. Maybe it was a tech. I thought he stuck him though he was on his back so much
  20. Blake Jordan of EMD beat Austin Jamison from New Albany by fall. Was about 15-1 when the fall happened
  21. I didn't take it as a shot at Yorktown. I do agree though that it was great to see MD bump up and wrestle in 3A. What good would it have done anyone to have them in 1A where they could have been? Just goes to show Greg Schaefer is a first class guy and some things are more important than making sure you win. Sometimes wrestling a tougher schedule and preparing for later in the year mean a little more.
  22. Seventh criteria points scored in matches. Bloomington South 42 and Mater Dei 39.
