  1. Hoping Preston makes a speedy recovery!
  2. Hmm… I don’t think there was anything egregious or at all implying officiating bias, but I think Delta did pretty well on the 50/50 calls, rather than getting shafted.
  3. You called it. He just dominated the bracket that I considered probably the deepest in the Wayne.

  5. Oh great, this dude has infiltrated our Ft. Wayne safe-space now.
  6. Really? No mention for Riley/Ryan Rasler from Prairie Heights?
  7. Trackwrestling is showing Rowles over old Mosier by fall.
  8. I’m a few days late here, meant to post these over the weekend, but I was intending on doing 12 per weight if some other rankers did(they did), but ran out of time before work Friday. SO, if trackwrestling had brackets up a day earlier, this is what 11 and 12 at each weight would have looked like - not considering sectional results. 106 #11 - Titus Loshe (South Adams, 9th) #12 - Carter Shegog (Angola, 9th) 113 #11 - Ian McVicker (Mississinewa, 9th) #12 - Brayden Juday (Leo, 10th) 120 #11 - Blake Byerley (East Noble, 12th) #12 - Dakota Sprunger (South Adams, 10th) 126 #11 - Elijah Gahl (Northfield, 9th) #12 - Tripp Haisley (Madison-Grant, 10th) 132 #11 - Lynkyn Ratcliff (Northwood, 12th) #12 - Xavier Garrett (Bishop Dwenger, 12th) 138 #11 - Dalton Tuttle (Delta, 12th) #12 - Tyson Kendall (Oak Hill, 12th) 144 #11 - Cohen Lundy (Elkhart, 11th) #12 - Ethan Rodriguez (Wawasee, 11th) 150 #11 - Zac Martin (Monroe Central, 12th) #12 - Ty Galvan (Maconaquah, 12th) 157 #11 - Evan Duncan (Winchester, 11th) #12 - Ian Amstutz (New Haven, 11th) 165 #11 - Matt Heiser (Jay County, 11th) #12 - Carson Godinez (Homestead, 11th) 175 #11 - Juaquin Flores (Jay County, 12th) #12 - Cam Freedline (Elkhart, 12th) 190 #11 - Austin Ringeisen (Maconaquah, 11th) #12 - Jerimiah Ullom (Monroe Central, 12th) 215 #11 - Brady King (Northwood, 11th) #12 - Nolan Parks (West Noble, 12th) 285 #11 - Terry Henion (Angola, 12th) #12 - Charles McGrant (New Haven, 11th)
  9. Toooough regional. The other regional winners who draw into JC’s #4 @ 120, 132, 138, 144, and 165 have their work cut out early in the day next weekend.
  10. Then one year later at the Goshen regional, Jake Weimer of East Noble came in as the 4th seed and left as the champion, and ended up punching his ticket the next weekend.

  12. Lol I came to this thread to say “the entire NE8 conference,” and I see it’s already been covered a bit. At 120 from there as well, Sean Harris (Leo) over Henry Faurote (Bellmont) fall 5:35 - Harris was down 2-3 with about a minute left before getting a takedown and subsequent pin. Timmy Rocha (New Haven) over Hunter Douglas (Norwell) 5-4 Rocha over Harris 12-7 Faurote over Douglas 7-3 Looks like it was a fun day for attendees. A bunch of wrestlers showed out and busted tough brackets and the rankings. Lot of added excitement heading into next week.

  16. 4x state champion, 3x world champion, and 2x(3, COVID) national champion would sound good enough… But then you throw in WWE??? It’s wraps.
  17. Welp. I almost refuted this by saying “are you sure, I remember New Prairie there my freshman year?” Then I remembered my freshman year was 13 years ago.

  19. For anyone still curious on how brutal the Al Smith is, there have been six 4x state champions between Randy Baker and Drew Hughes’ Al Smith runs. Twice as many 4x state finals winners as there have been Al Smith champions in that time, and would still have a two wrestler advantage if Jesse hadn’t missed his sophomore year due to COVID.
