We are trying to set up a great preseason event that will be a quality option for everyone.  So far it doesn't look like there is much offered this weekend so there should be a lot of great wrestlers from IL, MI, and IN.  I believe Michigan West is having a satellite weigh in for anyone in the Michigan area and Contenders for Indy folks.  Fogarty might be doing one for the Mishawaka/South Bend area.  If anyone else wants to host a satellite weigh in please let us know.  This will be a good warm up for those going to Preseason Nationals.  Register for the event through trackwrestling.

Another satellite weigh-in location added

Southmont High School

(enter thru TANDY GYMNASIUM) (Kevin Wilkinson)
6460 US-231
Crawfordsville, IN 47933

Friday October 21, 2016--4:30 pm to 6:00 pm for High School Wrestlers ONLY
Saturday October 22, 2016--10:00 am to 12:00 pm for 8th grade & Under wrestlers

We are excited about this event as it looks to be a great weekend to have the tournament as the big national events like the Super 32-Conflict at Carver and Pre Season Nationals in Iowa will not effect us.

We have State tournament officials from Indiana-Illinois-Wisconsin-Michigan scheduled to officiate the tournament.

National event level medals and hand written bracket boards to the champions.

Again we are capping the number of wrestlers at 500 each day so register as soon as you are committed to attending.

History and experience tells us that most people wait until the last few days to register so we expect that but are committed to providing a very competitive and well run event.

We have many verbal commitments from the surrounding states and we will be announcing some more satellite weigh-in locations as we get those locations and times confirmed.

We will provide updates as we get them.

Don't WAIT!!!

Register today here is the direct link to register...http://www.trackwrestling.com/regist...upId=238160009

Saturday October 22, 2016--10:00 am to 11:30 am for 8th grade & Under wrestlers

This event is 2 weeks BEFORE the Pre Season Nats in Iowa and no other events are going on this weekend.

It is a great opportunity to get in some competition mat time against some great regional opponents if you are heading out to Iowa or just to see where you stack up at this time in the pre-season.

There are satellite weigh-ins in Illinois-Indiana-Michigan and more locations will be announced.

We will start on time and finish early so there is no excuse not to come.

There are already 60 plus kids(many top notch wrestlers) signed up from 3 different states with a week and a half to go.  Not many from our area are going to Super32 or Conflict at Carver this weekend, so this is your last chance to get a good warm up before Preseason nationals and the up coming dual season.  There are a bunch of satellite weigh ins, so no one should have to get a hotel for this tournament unless you want to.  This is Indiana's version of the Celtic/Midwest Classic. Go on trackwrestling to sign up.

With all due respect, isn't what sets the Celtic Elite and Midwest Classic apart as top flight tournaments is having one open division with no age groups?  Midwest Classic had 455 kids and Celtic Elite had 527 kids last year when I looked at Trackwrestling.  I appreciate a good advertisement as much as the next guy, but the comparison isn't exactly fair or accurate with 60 kids signed up across 5 different age groups and 15 weight classes per age group.
