It can be any match, college, international, high school, middle school or even youth. Tell us why it was your favorite. Here are a few of mine 1983 state finals Scott Ellis (warren) def Paul Mayer (Lowell) 13-12 in finals Throwing head locks all over the mat. The older Ellis was known to be a bit of a mini-brawler and these two just went at it. 2011 - Kyle Ayersman (lake central) def Brenden Campbell (new castle) 10-8 with 3 takedowns in 30 seconds. http://www.ihigh.com/hoosiersports365/video_893317.html I remember all the smack on Indianamat from the New Castle Semi-state fans on how it was going to be a cakewalk for Campbell (with Da Region Rat pulling for Ayersman). Campbell was definitely the sentimental crowd favorite going into the match and early in it. But, what was amazing to me was how quickly it seemed the crowd turned on Campbell in the 3rd period when the jumbotron shot showed him just hanging on to Ayersman's arm trying to salt away a win. The crowd amped it up after that, and was treated to a spectacular finish by to great wrestlers.
