Team dual state champ

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about this but are they doing this again this year. What 3a schools will be there and when and where will it be? Thanks for any info.

Note: Merrillville declined its automatic bid for the second year in a row.

 

The event will again be held at Westfield High School over Christmas break.  This year it will be on January 4 because of how the holidays fall.

What the heck is Merillville doing that week end to make them not want to attend?

 

I think for them and CP, who both declined for last year's event, they want to leave the holidays open and they don't want to give up a commitment another time during the season.  Unfortunately, those two teams have combined to be the only 3 rejections out of 51 offered bids in two years.  The result is that no traditional powerhouse region team has been involved yet.
