119@88
My son wrestled 103 his freshman year in 2009, and I was remembering some of thode studs he wrestled and was amazed when I looked through the names. Phillips, Brooks, Ayersman,Petrov,McKinley,Todd,, and Harvey. All 7 won state titles over there careers. Has anything like this ever happened? Very deep 103# class to say the least! cpbsu89
Thats a lot of championships. I is good to see that the fierce competition lead to state championships for all of them.
jchas
I thought the guys who start out at 103 don't have any future success. That theory was just blown out of the water!

Loki27
If Campbell would have won then all four 103's from New Castle SS would have won a state title. That was one tough weight in 2009
Chickenwingz
Lets not forget Todd Batt who finished 2nd at 132, also wrestled in that very deep 103 bracket in 2009. ;D By far one 2008-2009 103lber's were badass!!!
aoberlin
What 103 is always weak. I am not even sure why we ever had it. :o
DirtyDeedsWrastlin
they should definatly add a 98 or 100 pound weight class
jchas
No wonder the bigger weight classes hate 103 so much!
Chickenwingz
I thought the guys who start out at 103 don't have any future success. That theory was just blown out of the water! The only year brooks and petrov both did not qualify were their freshman seasons. brooks was beat by Stevens of merrillville who had seen alot of success at that weight for 4 years. petrov was beat by medina of munster who never made a returned to the state finals. 103 in 2009 was one hell of a dogfight
