  1. To get wrestlers to start forcing more action
  2. They must not see an issue with this or else they would have changed it too.
  3. They changed it so players have to be in bounds. They restricted the out of bounds. There is less aciton "on the edge" in football because of the new rule.
  4. At what weight classes did each of these champs win at?
  5. Don't know what the big deal it. This is the same as asking "What if football fields were wider?" or "What if the foul ball posts were wider?" The rule is there, wrestlers follow the rule. There should be any complaining about "What if" people know the out out of bounds is there so make sure you are inside the circle. Simple enough.
  6. Thats a lot of championships. I is good to see that the fierce competition lead to state championships for all of them.

    Kral

How was it not decided by the wrestler? Gallegos knew he was down and didn't make a strong enough move to get a takedown to take the lead. I am sure he tried to take Kral down but Kral out wrestled him.
  8. So how long until they take Howe's picture off the mainpage and put up Jason's picture?
  9. I know that the out of bounds rule can be frustratin (this match for example) but the way the state meet is set up with the mats so close together it can get crowded with 2 matches going on right next to each other at the edge of the mat. Also if there are 2 sets of refs right next to each other at the edge, wrestlers can easily get confused on which ref is blowing the wistle.
  10. Read the posts.....Northwestern

    Kral

Congrats to Kral !!!! You did it and deserve it. People on here are acting like they did nothing but stand around. I wasn't there but I am sure both were working hard to get the vistory. I don't know how many of you wrestled at 220 or HWt, but it is completely different than the lower weights. If you don't get a clean shot in at that weight, then you have a huge, strong body all over your neck and shoulders. NOT FUN. So why would anyone try to take a shot without perfect position first???? Those hand battles and head position may be dull for spectator, but when you are in there it is entense, brutal, and tiring. The fact of the matter is that it may not be "entertaining" to the crowd, but the competitors know what they have to do to get the job done. I am sure both wrestlers left that match exhausted.
