Coach Brown Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 The 2011 City Wrestling Tournament will be held at [glow=red,2,300]Arsenal Tech [/glow] this year, with competition being at 8:30am. More details to come!!!!! Seeding meeting is Thurs. I am sure that the brackets will be posted on trackwrestling as soon as the meeting is over. Not bad for Tech hosting I always like going home to wrestle. 8) I will try to do a preview of some IPS wrestlers that should do well. Some of the Indianapolis City teams have made improvements in the last few years, and hopefully that trend continues. There will definitely be some great matchups throughout the day. Big Hawaiian Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 The Irish could come away with 10-11 city champs this weekend with a couple bodies getting this week to heal, and hopefully if healthy you could see a couple more state ca;iber wrestlers injected into the lineup, I would think no less thaen 10 #1 seeds.... Coach Hull Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 City should be an exciting tournament this year, with Cathedral once again running the show and everyone else looking to get in where they fit in. One exception is that the rest of the City has continued to close the gap, with notable wrestlers competing for titles including Deondre Wilson (#8 @ 106 Arsenal Tech), Devon Caldwell-Valdez (#13 @ 126 Northwest), Robert Duncan (#15 @ 132 Arsenal Tech), Charlie McGinley (126 Arsenal Tech), Michael Hendon (138 TC Howe) and many others. The tournament will be ran on Trackwrestling so updates will be readily available and brackets should be up Friday. Again, it should be a great event at a great venue!
