Colombian Boys
It makes you look foolish holding kids back for athletics not edication no doubt they wrestle the younger kids good. If they have passing grades they should not be held back period. its called redshirting at the middle school level:l WC182Dad, As I stated before, do your research on my son before you call me out. I don't think that is too much to ask. If you still feel the same then so be it. But check it out before you call us out. And just to confirm, I would put my son up against any high school kid in the state and feel confident he would hold his own. There is more to parenting then making athletic decisions. His academic success in high school is the number one thing I am concerned with. As I said earlier, he was not held back for athletic reasons. lpd096
WC182Dad, Once again, a PARENT'S decision. IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
Mattyb
This is out of hand. This was a post congratulating an young man for his hard work and an awesome accomplishment. Now, it has turned to this. This topic should be locked. If you want to start a redshirt debate, then do it elsewhere. I don't know the kid, but I am proud that an Indiana wrestler was very successful at this tourney. Great job youngman! I would be crushed if I were in junior high and worked as hard as Jose does, just to have a bunch of people rip me. I'm sure that he is a great kid. This is the youth board! C'mon, we are better than that.

MCKAJC
Sorry, I was just stating my opinion on the subject Im sure the young man is a great wrestler and best of luck in the future. I'm sure no one has meant any harm or disrespect toward Jose or his family. When there is an underlying distraction that's sometimes difficult to ignore we all just get a little..... well distracted. ;D Peace all
