I can see somebody padding their numbers by deliberately giving up a bunch of takedowns to get reversals?! This is the "cut-em" strategy in reverse. I can't tell you how many times (especially with little kids) I have seen a kid blow a sure 1 point for escaping in order to go for the reversal just to wind up right back flat on his belly.... it's terrible....
