cjl123 Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Well i think they will have a good showing......maybe somewhere in the top half.........140...160.....189 are strong weights.....lighter weights have been improving greatly last few weeks. 152.... 171...215 should get some wins...the weights in-between depends on if they show up to wrestle... timbo Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 This is going to be very competetive. On paper I would list Avon and Westfield as the favorites. The X factor are those first matches---lose and your done. It is possible to lose some good point scorers. I would like to see the non seeded wrestlers wrestle to get into the tournament-----not count those matches in the team scores. It would be nice to see sectionals handled in the same manner. That way you start the tournament with the best 8 and it's double elimination from there. If you can not beat an unseeded wrestler to get in you do not have a strong case. The hoosier crossroads conference consists of Avon, Brownsburg, Fishers, Hamilton SE, Lafayette Harrison, Lafayette Jeff, McCutcheon, Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville (quite a range of miles between some of the schools in the conference.)
