The 2021 NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Invitational will be taking place March 12-
13 in Jamestown North Dakota. This is the 3 rd year of this event including the 2020 tournament
getting cancelled because of Covid. This event is still considered an Invitational and once there
are 40 programs that sponsor the sport it will go to a vote for championship status. With 38
NAIA programs that already sponsor the sport, the tournament should be a sanctioned
championship by next year. Indiana will have 4 women competing at this tournament with 3 of
them competing for the new Indiana Tech program.
Korigan Wilkey will be competing in the 109-pound bracket for Indiana Tech where she
will wrestle Lisa Megargee of Eastern Oregon first round. Wilkey went to Elwood High School
where she was a 2-time girl’s state placer.
Alyssa Schuller will be competing in the 116-pound bracket for Indiana Tech, she is the 6
seed of the tournament and will have Raven Guidry of Oklahoma City first round. Schuller is
from Decatur and went to Woodlan High School where she was a girl’s state runner-up in 2017.
Riley Horvath will be competing in the 116-pound bracket for Indiana Tech and will
wrestle Daviona Bonner of Central Methodist first round. Horvath is from Elkhart and went to
Jimtown High School where she was a 2-time girl’s state placer.
Cierra Broukal will be competing in the 116-pound bracket for Campbellsville and will
wrestle Jasmine Alexander of Grand View first round. Broukal went to Bloomington South High
School and was a 2-time girl’s state champion. Broukal was also a Semi-State qualifier as a
junior in 2018.
