This year's Junior Freestyle team is relatively young compared to the recent years, but it does not lack the firepower.  Leading the way is Mitch Sliga who in recent years has been collecting stop signs like it is going out of style.  He has NEVER lost at Fargo and added a FILA Cadet Freestyle title just over a month ago to his resume.  He will be representing the USA in Baku, Azerbaijan in August, but first has some business to attend to in Fargo,  North Dakota.  Jared McKinley is coming back one more time to Fargo with a chip on his shoulder after a 5th place finish last year.  He was dominant during the high school season and looks to do the same in Fargo.  Other returning All-Americans include two Greco All-Americans in Sean Mappes and Kirk Johnson.  After a long Greco tournament they only had one day to recharge their batteries to gear up for freestyle.  Jacob Cottey came home with an 8th place plaque last year as a cadet and looks to bring home a bigger one this year as a junior.

Another Perry Meridian Falcon to watch is Donte Winfield.  He had success last year at Fargo, but came up short.  There are many state placers looking to make an impact this year at Fargo.  The pride of New Paris, Forrest Glogouski, is looking to do well after placing 6th this year.  State runner-up Vinny Corsaro is making his second trip to Fargo and looking for a spot on the podium.  Do not forget about Tommy Forte who beat one of the top wrestlers in the country in Anthony Valencia at the Junior Duals.  He is no stranger to national level competition.  Lastly, but lost leastly, Danville Warrior and state champion Neal Molloy is making another appearance in Fargo.  He placed 3rd at FloNationals this spring and a deep run in this tournament will put him high on a lot of college coach's radar.
