  1. I am definitely for, and here are my replies to your considerations:

     

    1. I totally agree, those should be classed provided that the sports have enough participating schools.

    2. Correct

    3. If you have numbers you think people should see, feel free to run them.  Why is it always up to Y2 to run everyone's numbers?

    It is up to Y2 because the burden of proof lies with those wishing to change the (excellent) status quo

  2. Gotta say I was impressed with Laughlin this weekend. Toss loss to Lee but he looked very impressive otherwise. Surprised by his methodical MD of a very good wrestler/athlete Motley from NC. Look forward to watching him again next year.

    The lack of participation is troubling, and it seems to be affecting several other sports. And Y2 as much as I'm in the class camp the numbers in other states don't reflect that classing would remedy the participation rates, particularly as it relates to small schools.
