Have they not seen how small the crowd gets for the last 2, sometimes 3 matches?

Any chance the IHSAA would be willing to take a page out of the NCAA finals book, and change up the order of the state finals under the lights? The last few years the NCAA has done this, usually having the most anticipated match, being the last match of the night. I would bet that the heavierweights might appreciate this as well, because half the crowd would not already be gone for the big fellas.. Thoughts..?

This wasn't a wait and see situation. They knew in last weeks semi finals when he went to the hospital after getting hurt.

If you know at regionals that your wrestler is not going to be competing the next weekend at semi state, why can't you do the right thing and give the alternate a chance to wrestle.. Instead of injury defaulting. Terrible and such an unclassy move.
