  13. A couple others I would add are: 106 - 120 Davis (Reitz) Whitley (Floyd) 126 - 138 Troutman (Floyd)
  14. Will everyone weigh in on Sunday or will there be satellite weigh-ins?
  15. What is the notification or selection process for the team?
  16. My guess is that Davis will go 113, was easily under 120 this post season and not cutting. By the way he is a really great kid, he was wrestling my son at folkstyle state when my boy got hurt. He had a pinning combination in, stopped wrestling looked at the referee and told him "he is hurt pretty bad". Sportsmanship memory I will remember the rest of my life!
  17. What area of Indiana do you live?
  18. I saw that guy coaching up at Columbus East on Saturday!
  19. The new weight classes have really changed the way the lowest weight is filled, there used to be very few juniors or seniors in 103 with the weight mostly filled by freshman. But if you look at this year compared to last year the additional three pounds appears to have made it more viable for returning classes to stay down, making it a very tough and deep weight class. I agree the incoming freshman will make an impact, but freshman probably won't be as dominant as they were when the weight was 103. I never would have guessed 3 pounds would have made as much of a difference as it has.
  20. Scribner Wrestlers concluded their season on Saturday finishing 3rd out of 16 teams at the season ending tournament with 3 champions. Here are the Scribner tournament team placers: 5th - Jacob Prince 4th - Anthony Casey, James Price, 3rd - Jack Tull, Jareth Gaddis 2nd - Mike Maxwell, Wayne Byrd 1st - Aaron Gohol, Tristen Dowell, Gage Lewis
  21. Scribner finishes the dual season 13-2 Results 70 - Johnson (H) pin 75 - Casey (S) pin 80 - Gohl (S) pin 85 - Rogge (H) pin 90 - Erickson (H) pin 95 - Greenawald (S) pin 102 - Castleberry (S) pin 110 - Harris (H) pin 117 - Duncan (S) dec 7-3 125 - Dowell (S) fft 132 - Price (S) fft 140 - Garrett (H) pin 150 - Lewis (S) fft 160 - Tull (S) pin 175 - Mowery (H) pin 195 - Gay (S) pin 220 - Byrd (S) fft HWT - Gaddis (S) fft
  22. As a legs guy I can tell you that the majority of the time a wrestler has legs in and is not trying to turn their opponent, they get in trouble and get reversed and usually took to their back. You have to give the opponent some credit for not going to their back when someone throws legs in. It is no different than a spiral ride or other pinning combination.
