  1. Nick Duke could surprise people, but saying that he handled Timmerman like LaRowe is a little off. Nick Duke beat Timmerman 7-4. Larowe beat Timmerman 8-1 and then pinned him in another match. On any day one good wrestler can beat another, alot of variables, sickness, injuries, mental focus, wrestling style. Chris Hogendobler wrestled Zack Corpe two weeks in a row, Chris lost the first match 11-2 and lost the second 7-3. And he has lost to Larowe twice, the first time he got pinned (shoulder injury didn't finish the Munster Tournament), and the second recently at Regionals 10-3 (was a little sick, puking the next day). Maybe at 100% Chris Hogendobler could beat LaRowe, but maybe not. At Regionals LaRowe lost to Corpe 15-3, more than Chris ever lost to Corpe, alot of variables go into each match.
  2. Hogendobler vs LaRowe could be a good match-up at 152 also. Hogendobler got second to Corpe at sectionals 7-3.
  3. Chris Hogendobler beat Troy Pickard 5-0, then got second in the championship match to Zach Corp 7-3. Plus Troy Pickard got 5th place, so those of you who pick him for the Fort Wayne Semi-State sorry.
  4. My son got home from wrestling practice with his bracket for the Elkhart Memorial Sectional. This is the 152lb. Zack Corp Elkhart Memorial(12) 23-2 vs Mike Humphrey Elkhart Central(11) 1-11 Jerad Stump Fairfield(?) 27-10 vs Jeff Burgduf Jimtown(10) 22-11 Chris Hogendobler Concord(11) 16-3 vs Jeremy Christner Northridge(10) 6-21 Mike Bess Northwood(11) 11-19 vs Troy Pickard Goshen(11) 25-4 But I thought Troy Pickard had his fingers broke last weekend at the NLC, he was losing to Caleb Kelly from Plymouth, then Kelly was disqualified for an Illegal move, and Pickard could not continue. Pickard won that round because of the disqualification, then took second in the championship round, without even wrestling Corp. I did not see the match between Pickard and Kelly, I was told from others that he had broke his fingers or hand. The newspaper did say it was a shoulder injury.
  5. I don't know what the holdup is. The Concord kids already know what they are seeded. My son came home for some wrestling clothes and said that Fulvio DeSantiago 125lb stated that he got a fourth seed. My son didn't know what his seed was yet, but at practice he will find out. I don't even know who makes up the Memorial brackets and sends them off.
  6. Thanks for all your work! How long does it take to put all that information into the computer?
  7. Are they not loaded yet, you can open it to the list of all the sectionals but you can't open any individual sectionals??

Records: Memorial 15-2 (7-0 NLC), Goshen 21-1 (6-1 NLC). Next: Memorial, Goshen in NLC Championships at NorthWood Saturday, 9 a.m. JV: Winners: Memorial -- Kris Roberts (130), Colt Harringer (135), Ezra Hendrickson (140), Tommy Kendall (145), Sean Briggs(152), Chase Spears (189), Danny Heerschop (215); Goshen -- Josh Abbs (119), Tyler Beasy (160).
  10. When I left there was only one match left and the score was 41-18 Elkhart Memorial. It started at 119 and Goshens 1st win was at 140 Ntende Pin, Troy Pickard won minor, Zach Corp wrestled 160( after he tried to wrestle 152 and Goshen coaches weren't having it) and he pinned Garcia, Singer won 171 by minor, Goshen's heavy won by pin, except for the four matches 140, 152, 171, heavy, Memorial won the rest. I left while the 112 was going. The 189 match with Dillenbeck and Sappington was crazy, Sappington drove Dillenbeck right thru the big 3-sided score board and I couldn't see if there was a scuffle afterwards because everyone was standing up. Sappington won.
  11. The Charger invite against Memorial doesn't count? That means the Northridge 152 doesn't count because it was at the Charger invite.
  12. I think Corp will be higher than Chris Hogendobler because of Chris's NLC record; Wawasee(win), Memorial(win), Northridge(win 152), Northridge(win 160), Warsaw(injured did not wrestle), Plymouth(injured did not wrestle), Northwood(injured did not wrestle), Goshen(lost 7-5).
  13. According to the point system, I predict Troy Pickard will get the #1 seed at 152lb. Most all the other 152's have had poor records or wrestled different weights at least some matches or were injured part of the season. Top 152's Troy Pickard, Zack Corp ( only two losses? only 3 matches at 152, most deserving of #1), and Chris Hogendobler ( 13-2, won the Central Turkey Dual and the Charger invite, wrestled once at 160, and has been injured half the season. Losses were to Jimmy LaRowe, and a close one to Troy Pickard in which Chris dominated most of the match).
  14. How does Plymouth wrestle in the NIC one weekend and the NLC the next weekend are they in both conferences? Just saw that and thought it odd. Nevermind, just realized some teams were invites.
  15. Corp wrestled 152 against Wawasee on 1-14-2010, pinned the Wawasee kid in 10 seconds. He will probably wrestle tonight at 152 against Northridge and tommorow night against Goshen. Then this Saturday at the NLC Conference match.
  16. What is used to seed wrestlers besides records? Corp should be seeded 1st, or is it because he only has a few matches at 152?
  17. Does anyone know when brackets will come out?
  18. My son was talking to Corpe at the Al Smith Tournament, he asked him if he was dropping to 152 for State and he said NO.
  19. What Schools are attending this meet ? Thanks
  20. I don't know how they look in the big picture, but a few 152lb.'s that caught my eye were Bellmont's Mahlan, Center Grove's Sean Mappes, and Goshen's Troy Pickard.
