I'm biased of course but the intersquad match "Wrestlemania" on 11/16 for Perry is always a good show to watch. Like all the top teams in the state most of time the difference in talent between our Varsity and JV is very small. Lot's of good wrestlers ready to get it on and prove they are the man. Varsity follows that up with "Capital City Classic" on the 11/20 as discussed in another thread it is full of potential great matchups. Good luck to all the teams as they get the season underway. Good luck to all the Indiana wrestlers headed to Iowa this weekend. Looks like Indiana is sending 85 wrestlers. Wanted to give a special shout out to the Perry boys making the trip. Both Cottey boys, Kenny, Mckeand, McKinley, Clem, Harvey, Ellis, Fagon, Mathews, Kelly, both Garcia boys, Harz, Tasseff, Cooper, Naughton, Johnson, and both Warren boys. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. I know a few more would have went but they got a big football game this friday want to wish them luck as well. Have a safe trip and kick some butt in Iowa!! GO FALCONS!!!!

I'd like to say all our boys have a shot at it..........that being said it's a tough place to get a ticket to Conseco. There will be some really good wrestlers put out in the ticket round and I"m sure the same could be said for the other semi states as well. Good luck to everyone. GO FALCONS!!!!

Can't believe wrestling season is around the corner..........I'm really excited about the hard work the boys put in this summer, not just the 4 or 5 mentioned but the whole team worked their butts off..........but we know we're not the only ones working hard to get better...........Looking forward to my son's senior year, gonna be some great matches, duals, and competition. Thanks Coach!! Coming out to the football field in 6th grade and talking to Derek about wrestling and introducing him to Coach Richardson was one of the best things that could have ever happened with him. From going 2 and out every weekend as a 6th grader to qualifying for state this year it's been quite the ride. You and the entire coaching staff have always been there for him and I thank you all. Good luck this weekend boys we still got work to do. ONE GOAL!!! GO FALCONS!!!
