    Does anyone have the results for this tournament?

    I have been feeling off-kilter all day and then I realized why... No prediction(s) from Jon H on the Mater Dei/Reitz match-up. Is he out of the country? Sick? Cryogenically frozen? Incarcerated? At a Burgoo festival? I'm not sure we can have the match unless he weighs-in (pun intended).

    Mater Dei is hosting a six-team Super Duals on Saturday, January 8. Each team will wrestle five times, time will be allowed for extra kids to wrestle. Teams committed are: Spartan, Missouri Jasper, Indiana Union County, Kentucky Granite City, Illinois Mater Dei We had a cancellation, so one spot is open. Since the time for the meet is near, the first commitment is in. Email me at jsjohnson@ccol.net for details.

    "you're", not "your" "manner", not "mannor" "i haven't bought into the fad that everything is offensive". I can't divine the meaning of this incoherent sentence. "I'm", not Im Duck, if you like, you can send me your posts for editing. That way, you can stir up the boards' denizens in a grammatically correct and coherent fashion. Hint: Google "denizen + definition"

    To the 99.9% reasonable posters on the forum: Duck and his ilk is the obnoxious kid on your bus that your mother warned you about. Giving attention, even if it is negative, only encourages him. Ignore his (their) posts, don't boo him, don't quote him. Soon enough, he will starve from the lack of attention. At that point, he will take on a new moniker, but you will easily spot it by the acidic non-sense coupled with poor grammar and sentence structure. To Duck and your socially-challenged confederates: Obnoxious does not equal thought-provoking Abrasive does not equal engaging Caustic does not equal conversational Being loathed does not mean that one is interesting. Duck, if you are having trouble with any of these words, an on-line thesaurus is available. If you spell "thesaurus" incorrectly in the search engine, Google will even correct the spelling for you!

    Greg Schaefer vs. Mini Ditka Ditka is hit with a penalty point before the match, because his headgear won't fit over his plasti-coat hair. No takedown in the first period, but Ditka gets warned for clipping. Ditka chooses neutral in the second and turns a chop block into "two". Schaefer struggles in the third but manages a reversal as times winds down to win a 3-2 squeeker. At the end of the day, there is a certain group of fans gleeful, will another group is glum. The gleeful group being, da Cats. This simulation considers, of course, the post heart attack Ditka.

    Booing a call that you don't like at a sporting event?!? What is the world coming to? Any referee with any sense would have deducted 20-30 points from Mater Dei's team score for the crowd's outburst. It's time to teach Mater Dei a lesson!

    i've got it! an outdoor wrestling match on fall festival saturday morning on franklin street. right after the lighthouse parade. the refs can wear the nut club cowboy hats with the big badge on the front. instead of throwing in a towel to signify the end of a round, they can throw a stromboli.

    Will the renovations to the Hilltop Inn be completed before the match? I don't think i will feel right without a brain sandwich, fishbowl and a side of burgoo on my stomach.
