    Does anyone know how seeding for state will work? Is it based on placement at the qualifier? I saw some situations where a wrestler A beat wrestlers B and C on the way to qualifying the first weekend and then wrestlers B and and C placed higher the 2nd weekend than A did the first weekend.

    Team race at Jay County came down to the results of the 1/2 and 3/4 matches at 285.

    Gavin Davis (Bellmont 157) wins a sectional title with a total of 23 seconds on the mat. Pin the quarterfinals and forfeits in the semis and finals. Not sure what happened there.

    To summarize: Original poster - does anyone know where I can find old brackets that are so old that they aren't in trackwrestling (presumably before trackwrestling was even being used for sectionals). Community - you can get some recent brackets in trackwrestling

    Probably some guys with good records (based on selective scheduling of matches by their coach) and who will now be strategically replaced by their better teammate who will now be the 6 seed in order to draw away from the 1 seed.

    Another difference is that the coaches all went through a process to develop the brackets last night...it's not a random draw....the coaches all know the brackets...so why can't everyone else know?
