    Chico Adams is a good friend of mine and he is in school right now trying to catch up on some classes, and is planning on wrestling at U of I next year. That is what he said last time I talked to him a couple of weeks ago.

    Tonte maybe a skinny kid, but don't let him fool u he is crazy strong.

    Apparently you didnt watch the same Tonte/Stahl match I was watchin, because Stahl was getting dominated the whole match, he was on his back within the first 10 seconds of the match, and I believe he gave up back points 2 or 3 times before he actually was pinned in Tonte's headlock. And Kirk Johnson would probably beat Eddy 9 times out of 10 it wasnt just luck. I know Perry was dominated by Mishawaka but they are also a very young team, so I think it was a bit of an eye opener for Perry.

    This is just my opinion but I believe the Mishawaka team from 08 is way better than Mishawakas team this year. With that being said I also believe alot more teams throughout the state are also down with alot of the top teams losing alot of great kids, which is why it seems the Cavemen this year are more dominant than in years past.

    Nelsen Beat Keiffer at 119 in Marion County final, I believe the score was 11-6.

    Im not sure if this matters or not, but Devin Schaefer (PM) beat Daughtery (Castle) 5-3 at last years team state finals. I know it is last year but Daughtery is ranked 12th and Schaefer is receiving no love, just thought I would add some input.

    Well you have to keep your grades up because if you dont have decent grades theres no way you will be looked at for athletics. Coaches wont tolerate a STUDENT-athlete that doesnt take care of his or her business in the classroom.

    conceited are we? Sorry no one in the state is as great as the all mighty Cathedral, maybe one day the rest of the Indiana will compete on the same level as Cathedral.

    The only wrestler Chico was talking to was the Castle 189, the only reason was because at the scorer's table after the match he pointed and Chico and said something. JMO but that is the last person I would want to point and taunt, but thats just me.

    Well if you were at the cathedral perry meet, you would have noticed that he rode him out for a period maybe longer and turned him. Also buchannan was stalling the whole match.

    That score was like that because SCHAEFER kept trying to headlock and missed everytime, its not like Stokes took him down at will Why would Stokes have any need to shoot if Schaefer was missing so badly? If a wrestler is willing to put himself in a bad position the best strategy is to do nothing and let him. I'm just saying that since everyone is saying cathedral would beat perry again thats a whole different match if schaefer doesnt attempt to throw any headlocks. I also believe chris schaefer would pin buchannan.

    Them boys in the south ain't no joke they put up a fight til the end. I think everyone in the state underestimated Castle, especially us Perry fans, thinking that we would blow right through you, but we sure as hell thought wrong. And Castle's fans were amazing, they had that gym rockin!!!

    I Just want to say congrats for making it to the finals and especially for putting up one hell of a fight with Crown Point. I believe you held your own against a stacked team with 3 state champs and with 5 kids ranked in the top 2 in the final rankings, especially since only we had three kids place and none were above 6th. I also want to give some love to my younger brothers Chris and Devin Schaefer, Chris you did great today beating 2 state qualifiers, although you didnt make it to ind. state you have had a tremendous career thanks for the memories and good luck next year. Devin you still have room to grow keep your head up, you also won a huge match to help get your team to the finals. Perry ya'll did a great job all year long, and im already looking forward to next year. Denver Schaefer

    with this being harpers last time on the mat in high school and he's put up with the pain this whole season I doubt that he doesn't wrestle.
