when i graduated my high school had around 2400 kids total and just because we had a bunch of kids didnt mean we didnt have a bunch of multi sport athletes. if you took away the kids who played football from all the other teams they played on they would have a team that was only at about 20% of what they would have been if the football players play. at all school whether they be big or small the athletes are still going to play

How are you going to be mad at a guy for winning his 3rd state title in a row and raising his fingers? would you rather have him get up off willis the last 10 seconds and run around and do it? I never won state so I don't know how it would feel to win it once let alone 3 times, but I do know that if i can a match locked up with 10 seconds left I would raise my arm or something. I don't think what Sean did was disrespectful at all he just won his 3rd title let him have it and celebrate the way he wants.

I agree with wildcat. I don't understand how you could let a fight like this happen. I respect the guy for wanting to fight even with no arms and legs, but you got to know you limitations. MMA is not like wrestling, it involves it, but they are definitely not the same. And, another question I have is why would someone take this fight?

I agree. It's way too easy to get around the rules, especially if your coach doesn't watch you weigh in before you go get the fat test done. I've seen guys who weighed around 195-200 and when they went to certify they said they weighed about 180ish. Then when they got the results back it said from the information that the kid gave he could only cut to 167. So if you look at it really the kid should have only been allowed to go to 189 not 171 like he ended up going. IMO, I like the rules they have in place but they need a way of enforcing the rules, which they don't have now.

Gosh there is a lot of hostility toward the Cubs. You guys could at least throw some pity support behind them. ha
