  1. Good for Perdue. Recruiting. Someone is killing it.
  2. While I can agree to some of this, so what! Add to the thread, or stay out! Analyzing the thread ain’t add context.
  3. I definitely hate it for a school or program, to bring a kid into their ,program by a vigilant coach ,where he was a relative unknown, and give him a stage to perform, and then stolen by a coach who knew nothing about him. Because he has money. Lazy man recruiting.
  4. Ok. That’s that. Good wrestler. And if one of the haves want him? They can give the man about anything he wants.
  5. Couldn’t be, though you told everyone 275?
  6. I believe there was a R. Nelson snider heavy , that I cheered for that was a Michigan Wolverine.
  7. You can tell he is a very descriptive food critic. If he ever looses his job, he could land that position, food critic, at The Tribune
  8. Or they need to be guided a little better. On how to cope. It’s bound to happen with kids if they are really are vested in what hey are doing. I know I’ve been there on a few occasions with my three kids and did my best to ease some of my that disappointment.
  9. I think this is good stuff for the kid’s wrestling now. Being able to finally express how tough, mentally this sort of thing can be on kids. We all know a kid or two that has faced this stuff. You know everyone can’t be a state champ. More aren’t champions than are. Coping with this is tough for adults let alone high school age.
  10. This s seems to be easier to get an answer than where next year’s state finals are! Lol
  11. I don’t mind. Hopefully this continues , for parity around the country. We need to keep the interest up in these remote areas
  12. You were right about 197, and they even pitted Allred and Dean against each other rather quickly with their seeding fiasco.
  13. Kendall was fun to watch. You could tell this year, the drive was off a little. Definitely an asset to the Boilers program for the years he wrestled.
  14. So old news to you. I met and sat with the Washington family at Ann Arbor a few weeks ago and learned a lot!
  15. Interesting side note about Coleman Washington and Yaya of northwestern. They all worked out together for years before their college careers began. Not sure but being friends, they may still get together in the off season.
  16. Thanks for the PU analysis. Purdue only looked bad this year because of the injuries. And as you know , the have nots in the league don’t have the depth of the haves. And aren’t able to plug in a backup all American at a whim. But they showed that they are developing wrestlers to compete on the big stage. No doubt boilers are mid to upper in the conference. Now the other team in the state needs to take it up another notch or two.
  17. After a lackluster Dual season, the Boilers answer the bell with two AA’s this year. The Hoosiers came within a whisker of getting on the podium, but had a good dual season. All good, as I see it, but two different ways to a successful season. And good for the state of Indiana with two Big Ten programs. Only thing better would be if these two schools were able to retain Indiana’s elite. Think about what the results could have been on the big stage this year.
  18. I can think the sport is big enough in Indiana. Very popular. Why the need “to grow “?
  19. Nice fact. Hopefully this continues. Great for college wrestling. Spread the wealth, so that the sport doesn’t dry up around the country.
  20. I hope filius gets by Hardy. I think he can beat woods. If woods gets by the Minnesota phenom.
