  1. Merlin is correct Inman is from Westfield and I believe he was a 5 seed. I should be able to get the full brackets up here tomorrow unless one of the other coaches out there can beat me to it.
  2. 152 Noblesville Alex Bowers is still unbeaten and having a great year I believe he deserves some recognition for all of his hard work.
  3. I believe for Noblesville that Gadient at 135 and Wormuth at 140 will do much better than their seeds. Gadient should win.
  4. I will apologize in advance if there are any mis-spellings I am doing this quickly off of a hand written copy. 103 1) Oversby H 2) Lile F 3) Belden W 4) Mantel Z 112 1) Snyder HSE 2) Gray F 3) Carlotto N 4) Carithero Mc 119 1) Draper W 2) Sipher F 3) Fitzgerald A 4) Watson HSE 125 1) Mangan N 2) Thompson B 3) Jackson LJ 4) Roetker H 130 1) Marcuson N 2) Klein A 3) Wohlschlaeger W 4) Bailey LJ 135 1) Griffin Mc 2) Simpson Z 3) Tatum HSE 4) Lank LJ 140 1) White W 2) Brown LJ 3) Kantz H 4) Madden F 145 1) Montes F 2) Hodge H 3) Martinez LJ 4) Specht N 152 1) Frauhiger Z 2) Bowers N 3) Irick HSE 4) Mickschl LJ 160 1) Young Z 2) Dale Mc 3) Neibarger HSE 4) Warren LJ 171 1) Gutierrez Mc 2) Delong W 3) Centrofante Z 4) Huston B 189 1) Sliga F 2) Conner Z 3) Schaeffer W 4) Smithey HSE 215 1) Sumner Mc 2) Snyder F 3) Campbell H 4) Wertz Z 285 1) Ford Mc 2) Ginter B 3) Melby W 4) Janney HSE
  5. I will try to have the top 4 in each weight class posted by 4:00 today.
  6. Any brackets? Seeding meeting was tonight. Predictions? I predict Noblesville will do better than last year!! (only one way to go ;D)
  7. Corey Louks has a couple of businesses mostly he runs dump trucks. He helped out here at Noblesville for a while but his focus was more with the track team. He worked one on one with the shot-putters.
  8. Ha! Good point, guess I had it coming.
  9. Of coarse, I'm just glad you found the humor in it. I'm just bored so I thought I would mess with you.
  10. Actually you started with "I'm not coming on here to bash a kid." then you followed with " I know coaches choose who bump and who doesn't" which I'm not even sure if that's a sentence. ;D. I'm just saying ;D
  11. He has been practicing, and should be wrestling his first matches this weekend.
  12. Just at a glance I notice New Pal in the 3a & 2a is that a mistake?
  13. We will have a county preview today at Heights. Noblesville will face Heights and I like Noblesville @ 152 Bowers over Sloderbeck. Any other county match ups out there today?
  14. Sadly Mr. Holpuch @ 189 suffered a season ending injury last week in practice. He will be missed!!
  15. A special thank you to all of the coaches that worked on this over the last summer. Really looking forward to the results.
  16. Your right I'm sure that's what they thought when they left the 14% out of the Jay County Regionals. No big deal as long as it's fair for "most" of the kids... We all know how well that turned out.
  17. Have the IHSAA actually drawn for this or are we just speculating, based on the draws from the other semi states? And if they have drawn who decides if there is going to be a redraw?
  18. I guess if everyone were as upstanding and as moral as you they would post the formula before regionals every year... Funny thing is they don't and they shouldn't.
  19. You are wrong. If you just look at the regional champions and assume you will have to beat 1 of them to get out you might as well pick the lowest ranked kid as opposed to the #2 kid in the state. Example Gadient avenged a loss by pinning walker in the consulations and getting 3rd only to be rewarded with potentialy Mullins in the ticket round. Same thing happened last year. 4 place at 112 got a better draw than 3rd. So we watched kids he beat go on to state and place. So knowing the brackets in advance woul have made a difference. I'm sure it will for others as well.
  20. I'm sorry it is just frustrating, for the second year in a row watching my son get a worse draw by finishing 3rd instead of forth. So your saying if you had the chance to go to state and you could wrestle McCarthy in the first round or Mullins in the ticket round, which would you choose? Would have been nice to have that option. That is just the one weight class I have really put some thought into but I'm sure it holds true across the board if people really put some thought into it. There is a reason they don't put these out before regionals and it should have remained.
  21. Whatever, but with the current system if I am wrestling in a 3rd place match and I know which champion it would put me against if I won, it would effect how I wrestled. If i had a choice of a guy I had beaten before of a guy I had never beaten it would make a difference. unfair advantage and they should redraw.
  22. if that is true it is complete BS I would love to have seen this before our meet. It would have totally changed some things!!!
  23. There is no way they would release this formula early there has already been enough controversy. surely it's not that simple to predict.
  24. Well said. I agree, we have full wrestlebacks at sectionals but not at semi-state. I'm just saying...
