I would not be surprised to see Logan from Mish pull a few upsets and finish in the top 2.. 11-10 against Lunford at sectional in a great match

you won't be disappointed with the Bravo Cafe! also another great breakfast spot is Macadoo's across the street from Beiger Elementary School on Lincolnway. Small hole in the wall with great breakfast food ;D

ive been saying this entire time penn has a great chance of taking off mishawaka. but as someone said in another thread, mishawaka will start off a little rough, but come sectionals i would not be surprised if snyder has a great team and works towards another title. im not predicting mishawaka getting there, im saying just dont be shocked if it happens

yes varner did wrestle 19 if i believe correctly, but it wasnt gregory, but gregory being the best person on penn's team did get beat by binion at semi state which makes your point invalid but its all good!

ccbig yes i did see the Binion match and Binion was pushing the pressure and was scoring all/most of the takedowns. he got hit for stalling because varner? and himself werent doing anything and so Binion came with a blast double and caught on his back with under 10 seconds left. so yes i will say if a young wrestler doesnt push the action in the last ten seconds after pushing the pace the first 5:50, it can be called a fluke. also see the fact that Binion is technically top 10 cause i mean he did place at state and all ;D

I see it 7 down the middle too.. maybe mishawaka winning 8 if they could steal a win at 135-145 -
if you watched the same hiestand match as i did when i sat in center grove i saw him take 0 shots til the last 20 seconds when he kept getting hit for stalling. i believe 0 shots would constitute stalling if one wrestler is pushing the action. just an opinion though

key part i see is to have a shot. i agree with you chuck. even if everything goes the way CP needs it, within the sights of reality, it would still just give them a shot, not even certain they would take it then. as unbiased as i can say this being a mishawaka fan, they are too deep with senior leadership and talent

were they supposed to post a picture of him on top of the Mville Semi-state podium? honestly IMO i was disappointed with Mishawaka's outcome at state but if the South Bend Tribune were to report just the good news what good does that do? A kid had a fantastic season - True. A kid lost in the championship - True. if you want wrestling covered you have to take the good with the bad. honestly i dont get what you are all making a huge fuss over. Atwood had a fantastic year/career, MJJ just finished this year off the way Atwood wanted to. That is the news and that is what was published. boo me all you'd like but its the truth.

as much as i would love to agree. CP was the team that won. shoulda, coulda and woulda doesnt matter when it all comes down to it. we didnt get the match-up we would have liked and it didnt work out last year. that is also something that can fuel this team. state in 08, again in 2010!

42-17. michael dude CP is good but 3 placers < 9 placers. They come from the same semi state. this is not even a discussion IMO. Mishawaka has shown that they are the dominant team this year hands down. 42-17 against CP, shutting out PM til i believe the last 3 matches.

Yeah i agree with AJ here, put aside my team of choice here. 10 state qualifiers... this team is too deep. 42-17 at the Triacoff.. idk and to say they will beat mishawaka cause of heart? look at mishawaka last year after winning the title. out in the first round and i dont expect them to lose this weekend.. just too good

how many guys had 3+ guys on the podium? nobody is talking how good individuals are here, but they are losing a lot of state placers. and how did he show poor sportsmanship? he lost in the championship and was upset because there were many close non-calls where they didnt go his way. not saying cleveland isnt deserving but when lentz is in the process of putting him on his back and basically has a reversal, i feel that is an escape from the guy on top IMO... just sayin

agree but i would never count out a team coached by snyder. he will get guys ready and guys will step up and do their jobs. but i agree penn next year has a great shot at a run at team next year
