Baker has to get by Whitaker first and I say that won't happen. Whitaker wins that one and Mosier will stick everyone he wrestles at regionals. I have never seen Whitaker get stuck and he will be on a mission to ensure this doesn't happen again. I just feel that Mosier will continue his dominance this weekend. I think regional and semistate will have Mosier first, Whitaker second, and Baker third. Just my two cents though, good luck to all three as they continue their march to Conseco.

This question is for anyone, but I was curious if any coaches ban ipods or mp3 players. If so how does this make the wrestlers feel and what was the reasoning for the ban. Only asking because a kid told me today that his coach doesn't allow his team to use them. ???

Martin gave one point on a call made by the ref, so the only person I saw make a mistake in that match was Martin, not Harper. Harper and Martin wrestled a great match and Martin came out on top. Drop the rankings beef, they don't even matter, they are just for the kids to recieve the recognition they don't recieve from any other media source.

Yeah I saw Hall beat Sandefer, thats preserverance, at Delta sectional two guys wrestled for the third time with no change in the outcome.

Fodrea only had two or three losses and he pretty much controlled that match from start to finish.

I am the first to admit when I am wrong and boy was I wrong, Chalfant is an animal. I new he was good, but I didn't think he would man handle Janney like that. Mosier looks awesome congrats on the new school record for pins in a season. 33-0 with 32 pins, impressive. Josh Martin vs Cody Harper was the match of the day. Dulaney looked great, and Fodrea beating King to some was a upset. Anyone know the final ream scores? Great job to all wrestlers and good luck next week at Regionals.

I know how tough Chalfant is, but I don't think he has wrestled a hwt that is as good on his feet as Janney.

I asked a similar question in a previous post, and I was curious aside from the recognition you receive for your performance, how many of you would rather be unranked going in to the tournament. Being ranked puts a target on your back and I was wondering how guys feel about being ranked or not. I love to hear about the kids who are unranked and come semi-state start doing some serious bracket busting. This is in no means a knock against the rankings, because these kids work their butts of and deserved to be recognized and we all know the media isn't gonna do it. So let's here it and your logic behind your answers.

I also think Whitaker will beat Baker at 152. I also think Janney will upset Chalfant. I think it's great that the rankings are here (and you guys do a great job w/ them) so guys can be recognized in a sport that gets little to no airtime and hardly any coverage via newspaper. That being said I was curious why people get upset about so and so not being ranked, we all know any one can beat anyone on any given day and thats what makes our sport great.

I understand they are at different weights, but I don't understand Eppert being the highest ranked kid nationally from our state. Cashe #19, no McMurray or Roach and three time state champ at #15 kind of mind boggling.

I don't get the argument, the top four get out right? Well then it shouldn't matter what draw or who you wrestle, the better wrestler wins, the top four move on. Seems pretty simple to me, the topic should be can we use the draw as a reason why we didn't get out of semistate. :'(
