  4. Coaches- I wanted to take quick minute to update everyone on Brute. As many of you know, Brute's President, John Purnell, was at the IHSWCA Fall Clinic this year. While there, John was gracious enough to give away a set of sublimated custom singlets and a set of 1/4 zip sublimated warm ups as raffle prizes to two lucky schools. Furthermore, Brute was a major sponsor of the first IHSWCA State Duals in 2012 by supplying the sublimated shirts that the teams received after that event. Brute has also helped E.I. Sports, through the Brute R.E.A.C.H.E.S. Program, supply wrestling equipment, such as headgear, singlets, and knee pads, at no charge, to needy programs in our state. In short, Brute truly means it when they say that they support our sport. Last year, Brute had an unfortunate year and ran into some major delivery issues that they had never experienced before in my 10 years of providing wrestling uniforms to this industry. I wanted to let everyone know that as of this morning, during the busiest time of the season for Brute, they are shipping new sublimated singlets, warmups, and fight gear in 14 business days. I just checked on several orders and there are orders that I placed on Monday of this week that are shipping before Thanksgiving. Its not too late to get sublimated uniforms and gear for the upcoming season! Brute is MADE IN AMERICA and is back to having lead times that make it possible to get gear in a timely fashion. If you need team gear, I urge you to consider Brute. They are wrestling people who truly give back. Whether you purchase from EI Sports or one of our competitors, Brute is a great option that makes sense for your program and for our sport.
  5. We will see how the Varners hold up. People either love the looks of them or hate the looks of them. I do know that as a team dealer I am struggling to get my hands on them. They are selling extremely well and the factory is having trouble keeping them on the shelf.

Thanks to everyone who does business with us!! We know you have options and we appreciate that you choose us for your programs needs! Jeff Schaefer

  10. Coaches- With the new inventory hitting the shelves, I would like to move all of the old inventory out and start with a clean slate on the shelves. I will sell the shoes to individuals but I am really wondering if there was a school out there that would consider paying a rock bottom price for a group of shoes and taking the entire lot of them for a super sweet price. I know some schools supply shoes to wrestlers in financial hardship cases etc etc. This is perfect for those situations and it can help put good shoes on kids who need them. All shoes are one of the following styles. All styles are very current..and their are no crazy colors. Asics Split Second - 3 (some black, and some cardinal) Asics Cael V5 (last years model) - 2 (navy/white) Adidas Response III (2012 model) - 6 (some lt blue/navy and some black/red) Adidas Combat Speed 4 (last years model) - 9 (black/red, black/white, black/royal) Adidas Sydney Adizeros (2012 Olympic Shoe) 2 (red) Sizes are as follows 4 - size 9 2 - size 9.5 3 - size 10 1 - size 11 1 - size 11.5 1 - size 12 7 - size 12.5 2 - size 13 21 pair total These shoes are all in the $60-$100 suggested retail price range. I will sell them all, in one lump buy, for $500. That's less $23.80 a pair on closeout. I will also cover the freight. I can ship them to you right away. If interested, please email at eisports@sigecom.net or call 812-474-1836 and ask for Jeff Schaefer.

  15. The promos includes FREE stuff....and lots of it. Minimum singlet order is only 14. Order must be placed by May 31. 16. This is not meant to be a shot at the IHSWCA because I know Tyson, Trent, JD and everyone else is busting butt to make this event the best it can possibly be. That being said, I wanted to just throw out my opinion that taking this from a 1 weekend event to a 2 weekend event and splitting it up is a huge step backwards and is going to upset a lot of people. It will take a lot of the polish off of the event as a whole and will make people choose to go to one or the other but not both. I am sure they aren't going to split it up unless they have to but I really hope they do not have to. I can tell you that my team will find a way to pay and extra $100 of entry fee to be in a full blown arena whether it be north, south, or central Indiana. If all teams will agree to that your looking at $3600 in additional revenue to help cover rent.
  17. The teams involved have nothing to do with Tom Miller. That's a totally different topic and one that is trying to be worked on by many involved to clear up the confusion and give kids a better option than they have every had. The purpose of my post was not to beat up Tom Miller.
  18. This years event is two days away and looking at the team list is very disheartening. Only 7 states represented - VA, IN, OH, MN, KY, IL, COL - what happened to NJ, PA, NY, DE, FL, GA, NE, Maryland, MI, TX? all who have had teams in the past??? 5 teams from Indiana 6 from Ohio 3 from Minnesota (new state!! great to hear) 3 from Illinois 3 from KY 1 from VA 1 from CO and of course...New Jersey has backed out I guess! Sounds more like a "midwest all star classic" these days. It seems that it was ok for the midwest states to travel to the east coast for years and years but since the event was moved from the east to the midwest the east coast guys are too good to come compete in a more centrally located venue. This is still a great event but it could be so much more!!!!!
  19. amen!!!! Andrew you were awesome to watch. Good Luck in the future and thanks for representing my state so well!
  20. IHSWCA Classed Team State Duals Selection Committee Chairman - Tyson Skinner (Madison HS) Committee rep - Sam Riesen (Churubusco HS) Committee rep - Zach Harper (Jeffersonville HS) Committee rep - Mike Day (Centerville HS) Committee rep - Jim Tonte (Perry Meridian HS) Committee consultant - Nick Strub (East Central HS) Committee consultant - Adrian Troyer
  21. Im not exactly sure why the IHSWCA has not made a public statement on this issue, and Im not trying to get in the middle of this mess. I do however want to make a statement that I firmly believe to be true. In my educated opinion, the decision on how many teams get to enter from Indiana is 100% the decision of John Cook. John is the Tournament Director. John works for the NWCA. This event is an NWCA event. I feel that John Cook needs to get in touch with those with kids and teams hanging in the balance and make a decision. He is making the IHSWCA look bad at this point and the IHSWCA is an organization that I respect and support. I would also advise the IHSWCA to make some type of statement on this matter so that the coaches all across the state can be informed versus trying to imagine just what the heck is going on. I think there is room for everyone in this event. I think teams from Indiana can be very competitive and be used to fill out the brackets in this exceptional event. I also think it would be great if we all got on the same page and pulled together for the sake of our state and the wrestlers we are all trying to help. At this point I just hope it all works out for the kids who want to compete and the coaches who want to put in the time to help make them better.
  22. I was told that the Mater Dei RTC will start on Tuesday March 11th. times are 6:00-8:00 Very good room including several kids from Union Cty Ky, Mater Dei, Central....and others.
