  1. Nelsen beat Roach 9-6 he's wrestling Minotti now, Minotti up 4-1
  2. AWN/TOM live audio play-by-play from midlands: http://awn.theopenmat.com/2013/12/tom-live-ken-kraft-midlands-championships/
  3. Shroeder lost Eppert lost to Boyle from Mich Ayersman lost 6-0 to Schopp SPringer lost 21-7 to Graff Caton won 16-6 then lost 14-0 to Lolito from cal poly Quiroga lost 13-5 to Ramos Sabotello lost Schafer lost Tsirtsis wrestling Molloy right now leads 6-0 I think

  5. 125 Camden Eppert (PU) seeded 11, path through the bracket: Deutch from Rider, then Cory Clark from Iowa, then Jarrod Garnett former AA and asst coach at Bucknell in the semis then Gilman from Iowa or Delgado from Illinois. Brutal. If Luke Schroeder (IU) get's out of the first round he'll see Eppert and then follow the same rough bracket Joe Duca scratch 133 Kyle Ayersman (PU) drew #1 seed AJ Schopp from Edinborough first round. If he wins he'll run in to Rossi Bruno or Dom Malone. If he wins that he'll likely run in to Tyler Graff or Colon >> Mason Beckman or Ramos. Brutal. Kyle Springer (IU) drew in to Tyler Graff first round. Bad luck Chris Caton (IU) has Anthony Finocchiaro from Brown 1st rd, then #10 seed Devon Lolito from Cal Ploy, then former super32 champ Geoff Alexander from Maryland, then Tony Ramos >>> Beckman/Wolfensperger >>> Schopp. Caton can make some noise here I think. Cashe Quiroga (PU) drew in to Ramos first. That sucks. If he pulls it off, he'll run the same route as Caton above. They'll be some great matches in the consolation bracket in this weight. 141 Nick Lawrence (PU) has Jim Canucci from lehigh 1st rd, then #1 seed Mitchell Port from Edinborough. Ouch Ethan Raley (IU) has Brett LaBudda from Nebraska Kearney then Nick Barber from Eastern Michigan, then Joey Lazor from Northern Iowa (COULD BE THROWBACK REMATCH W/ BRANDON WRIGHT if wright can upset Lazor) then Mitchell Port in the quarters >> semis Brystol from columbia/Greco from northwestern/Brown from maryland. This is a good draw for an unseeded guy. Danny Sabotello (PU) has Gus Martinez from grandview, then Rodriques from illinois or Gardner from lehigh, then #3 seed Adam Kopp from princeton, then either Durso fro franklin & marshall or Dziewa from Iowa. Danny might win a couple matches. Brandt Schafer (IU) has Rick Durso 1st rd. ouch 149 Neal Molloy (IU) has TJ Ruschell from wisconsin 1st rd, then JASON TSIRTSIS if he pulls the upset he'll see Jake Short from minnesota. Alex Griffin (PU) has Gabe Morse from northern illinois then Jake Short>>>Tsirtsis. Bummer Brandon Nelsen (PU) has Eric Roach (IU) 1st rd. then Minotti from lehigh then Sorenson from Iowa or Habat from edinborough. Further out it's the same side of the bracket with Mike Kelly/Darrion Caldwell 157 Kyle Mosier (PU) has Collin Holler from south dakota state, then D3 champ Nazar Kulchytskyy from UW oshkosh. Taylor Walsh (IU) #3 seed has Ben Dorsay from maryland then Destin McCauley from Nebraska/Salazar from michigan/Morse from northern illinois >>> same side of bracket with Scheidel/Zeerip and Brascetta from Va Tech who I think he can beat. Likey finals opponent is St John fro Iowa. 165 Ryan Leblanc #8 (IU) has Walt Gilmore from iowa then Houldsworth from columbia then Steven Monk from ND state (not sure why he's seeded #1?) Then Jackson Morse from Illinois. This is a great bracket for him. That weird seed for Monk puts Taylor Massa and Nick Moore in the lower bracket together. The test for him will be Morse who's ranked ~#3 in the B10. Chad Welch (PU) Devon Gabbo from harvard then Cooper Moore from northern iowa, then Jackson Morse from Illionois Pat Robinson (PU) has Travis Berrige from cal poly, then Taylor Massa. 174 Nate Jackson (IU) has Landon Williams from wartburg, then toss up then Mike Evans from iowa Pat Kissel (PU) has Conor Brennan from Rider, then #16 ranked Cody Caldwell from northern iowa Matt Irick (IU) has John Dickson from VA tech, then #2 seed Hayden Zilmer from ND state, then ??? Brock Gutches maybe Don't expect much at this weight 184 Luke Sheridan #10 seed (IU) draws into (unseeded) OTC phenom Pat Downey. This should be good. If he pulls it off he'll see Sammy Brooks from iowa then Sheptock. Tough draw. Side note: Mitch Sliga is unseeded and has a big 2nd rd matchup against 3x ohio state champ Dominic Abounder from Michigan. 197 Braden Atwood #4 seed (PU) has Nate Rotert from SD state, then Reck va tech or Heald michigan, then Polizzi from northwestern, then Mario Gonzales fro illinois. Hope to see the matchup with Reck. Garret Goldman (IU) has Donald McNeil from Rider, then Nick Whitenberg from eastern michigan, then Boley from maryland then Burak. 285 Alex White (PU) ............................. no chance Adam Chalfant scratch?

  16. I appreciate your point, but I disagree. Wrestling discussion boards are a direct outlet for fans and a great way to publicly voice your opinion in a format where everyone involved with a program can see that feedback. Fans can make a huge difference in the direction of a program, but not without supporting it. If IU builds a significant fan base and those fans demand a better product, there will be some movement. I can all but guarantee you the AD and the IU board are not interested in meeting with or even entertaining the opinions of a singular wrestling fan. A couple hundred dedicated fans however, voicing disapproval in a public way will almost certainly get somebody's attention. If we're not willing to support the team, we might as complain to the wall about it.

  20. I don't know dude... with guys like Dicamillo, Gulibon, Thorn, Grey etc hanging around that low AA rd of 12 area, it's a stretch. Quiroga at 141 however, he fits right there in the middle somewhere IMO. possible AA.
